They're called flats. They are good because they enable high density housing without turning the whole place into slums like these in Lagos CBD.

Kenya population control is impressive. Something poor Nigeria can learn otherwise as long as they continue to breed they are going to be very poor for a long time.

Kenya first country in SSA to launch an official national family planning programme in 1960s - and apart of Botswana & Zim - Kenya has been clear lead in use of contraceptive - that has led reduction of numbers of kids per woman - from 8 in 70s to now about 3-4 kids -

Yeah, I am proud to be from Jos (central Nigeria).
I currently live in Warri city in South-south Nigeria.

Both cities have a large urban area of over 1.5 million people. By the next census next year, they would have both clocked 2 million people each. Their economies are growing too.
I visit Lagos occasionally and know the city quite well.

You see, I am happy that Nigeria is not like Kenya where everyone has to live in Nairobi.
The majority of Nigeria's middleclass population do not live in Lagos unlike your one-city country.
I can bet my balls here that all of you Kenyans on this thread live in Nairobi where you are heavily congested in those concentration camp houses that dominate Nairobi
