If Nigeria play like they played during the qualifiers then England will be beaten. England is not a good side at all - ive watched there qualifying games and they were atrocious. Nigeria can beat them and that includes Croatia, Iceland (Iceland I suspect will be tough for all the teams - you watch) and Argentina ( they have big problems - did you see them against Haiti - terrible) Nigeria will dictate the game - watch and see MetalJigsaw: 2 Likes 1 Share |

Joebie: You know where I from come. It's not everything I can say here, I could lose anonymity and face litigation. Buy you know our people what concern them more the purity of getting the best footballers or the best deal. That sentiment is not unique to Nigeria but widespread across football globally. |

safarigirl: Actually essentially it is. I speak to countless football recruitment heads and football analysts. They all WITHOUT EXCEPTION start off with statistics. Liam More played for a dead team Reading last season has played for two seasons non stop no injuries. He has the best statistics in the Championship he is on his way to back to the EPL. What makes Ndidi stand out, check his stats. I can say your proposition is Totally wrong. So yes much to the disappointment of some here, football na MATHEMATICS. |

forgiveness:Note : I do not intend to go back and forth with you... Firstly nwakali is not going to the world Cup... Secondly players of ajagun's age in camp right now are better than him. Mikel, ogu, onazi, Joel.... Thirdly the younger players in camp for the future are better than ajagun.... Ndidi and Iwobi.....even Agu. Please narrow this discussion to midfielders. Lastly I do not disapprove of ajagun I am only letting you know that you and komekn basis of disapproving nwakali is flawed in all ramifications because anyone who is not blind can see that he is been groomed. Besides he has had jus one call up. His brother two. Don't turn this into an ajagun argument. I see komekn avoiding my question... Yes he should hide in shame..... Mentioning all sort of special players who are not Nigerians. You feel say na to speak plenty grammer be the thing. If komekn can give just a name. I will put my ass up for display in shame.... Or I will come kiss his feet any time he comes to Warri.... I challenge you komekn give me a name or forever remain shut. 6 Likes |

eterisan: Sorry in football you do not groom players it's not financial services. Players are selected on current continous consistent performances. Those units of measurement are objective not subjective and are the justification for selection, anything else is simply favoritism. |

Eterisan, I have not responded to your latter question ❓ I find it discriminatory and birthed from the same place as racism and tribalism. That's why you have no answer. I describe myself as born in the UK but made in Warri I speak Igbo of course Isoko / Urhobo and a smattering of Yoruba. I do not consider myself any less Nigerian or more Nigerian than those born in my ancestral village. The substance and underlying rhetoric of your question ❓ is negatively divisory. Maybe if you rephrased the question with a more positive inclusive approach I will respond. 1 Like |

komekn:chaiiii...... Finally..... Phew..... It took a lot to get this out of you.... Ovie plays for England youth team.... Ruled out. Same as tega...... And ojo..... All ruled out for now... They cannot be invited at this moment...they are not interested in us sef o.. And they even play for lower division teams o. Nawa for you o bros. Small time u go tell us say their league rate pass Holland division 2 . We agree.... So them be special talent too.... Finally... We dr end up with aluko and ajagun..... So you and forgiveness nor de tire.... How is aluko competing with nwakali.... Is he a future prospect.... Aluko is competing with Mikel, ogu, and Joel or even Agu.... Currently he is not part of the team so how do you expect him to be in the world cup...... Besides what special thing has he done this season to warrant a call ahead of established team members..... Do you now see that your argument is flawed. You criticism of nwakali has no basis cos simply there is no future prospect better and available right now... Gerrit BTW nor de call yourself made in Warri cos you have no idea what it means.... Abeg.... We fit liv one or two for ur sclero.... Jus kponkpi..... 8 Likes |

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by forgiveness: 11:30pm On May 31, 2018 |
eterisan: So you mean Ajagun is not NFF project? Smh You must be very ignorant. Ajagun was a member of the U17 and U20 of our National team. He was even the captain of Ndidi, Kayode and Simon, Shehu, Aminu Umar and Kingsley Madu in the 2013 U20 set yet he's not part of NFF project. He was the only Nigerian that made the U20 Africa championship best 11 and he was the best player in that team. However, some of these players have gotten into the National team by using it to the resart their career. You surely don't have any idea. 9 Likes |

forgiveness:is that all.... Tell me what I don't know not what I know. Abeg I am tired. How is ajagun more of future prospect than nwakali. Are they mates. Ajagun mate pass am.... Stop going back and forth with this ajagun and aluko thing. They are not part of the team. Simple. They are not better than their mates in the team simple. As if you don't want ajagun in the national team so as to restart his career. Nwakali is not their competition. Simple....he is not even in the team... Gerrit... We are looking at the u23 team and eagles post Russia. He was bought by arsenal after his performances at youth level. If that isn't special talent what is. Who bought ajagun after his own time as captain. I'm done with you here abeg.... Thank you 4 Likes

pelezico:England seem to have the same problem with us without Mikel. They lack that player to link up play between midfield and attack. I think Southgate is hoping RLC is that guy. Tbh RLC is doing what I expected Joel Obi to do for us...driving with the ball into the final third. The difference is they have a higher quality of players at the attacking 3rd and have Henderson to dictate play from deep. They are favorites to win but we can always spring a surprise as usual. |
