Sorry, i meant to say 6 midfielders.

elder I have asked the question since morning and forgiveness and komekn cannot answer me. At least their silence proves that they have no point in criticizing nwakali's call up for the athletico game or 35 man list.. Wherever they saw such list.

I will still ask for the third time.... Now it is an open question for everyone .... Is there any special talent midfielder currently of Naija decent both home and abroad that deserves it more than nwakali to be called to the national team just to train... Post Russia...... I really want to learn.... I am waiting..

Forgiveness and komekn should hide their face in shame... I cannot wait for dust to settle.

In komekn's voice..... Nwakali plays in Holland division 2...nwakali should not ride on youth past glory.... Nwakali is not a top performer in division 2....nwakali is not special talent but special connections......

Bros I go disgrace you today.... I d'or vex..... Oya name one Naija midfielder na wey be special talent, top performer, not in division 2 of any league and has past glory in youth competition for any country..... That deserves it more than nwakali.... Bros you must answer today o... Or just keep quiet forever on this nwakali issue... Cos I will be on your case.... Thank you

Was going to the world Cup the point you raised?

As you can see from the bolded, the cruse of the matter was Nwakali making the 35 manlist.

So, don't digress from the koko.

After naming it, you tried to call me names just st because you saw Ajagun and you even went ahead trying to justify it by claiming I added Eze just because I dont want to be tagged as tribalist but I proved you wrong by showing you your previous post that demanded I should also name a player abroad.

What a shame!

eterisan:
Note : I do not intend to go back and forth with you...

Firstly nwakali is not going to the world Cup...

Secondly players of ajagun's age in camp right now are better than him. Mikel, ogu, onazi, Joel....

Thirdly the younger players in camp for the future are better than ajagun.... Ndidi and Iwobi.....even Agu. Please narrow this discussion to midfielders.

Lastly I do not disapprove of ajagun I am only letting you know that you and komekn basis of disapproving nwakali is flawed in all ramifications because anyone who is not blind can see that he is been groomed. Besides he has had jus one call up. His brother two.

Don't turn this into an ajagun argument.

I see komekn avoiding my question... Yes he should hide in shame..... Mentioning all sort of special players who are not Nigerians. You feel say na to speak plenty grammer be the thing. If komekn can give just a name. I will put my ass up for display in shame.... Or I will come kiss his feet any time he comes to Warri....

I challenge you komekn give me a name or forever remain shut.

As you can see, it was about making the list based on merit and not on your first to third points.

They are irrelevant in this discussion in the first place because they were never the bone of contention.

It was never about age but the merit of making the 35 man list.

Now, why is Ajagun old washed up player and why is he too old enough to make the list?

Why did you disdain Ajagun in such manner yet you didn't tell us why older players and his age mates are in the team?

You haven't answered my question.

In that case, I think one of Etebo or Joel Obi will be dropped because the coach ‘loves’ Mikel Agu. As we know, Iwobi can also be used as the AM if need be.

is that all.... Tell me what I don't know not what I know. Abeg I am tired. How is ajagun more of future prospect than nwakali. Are they mates.

Ajagun mate pass am.... Stop going back and forth with this ajagun and aluko thing. They are not part of the team. Simple. They are not better than their mates in the team simple. As if you don't want ajagun in the national team so as to restart his career.

Nwakali is not their competition. Simple....he is not even in the team... Gerrit... We are looking at the u23 team and eagles post Russia. He was bought by arsenal after his performances at youth level. If that isn't special talent what is. Who bought ajagun after his own time as captain. I'm done with you here abeg.... Thank you

You're not even making sense again. Typical of two faced double standard fellows.

Onazi, Ogu, Brian, Joel are all the same age with Ajagun but you have called him Old washed player. Why?

Ndidi did not train with the team, he continued his light exercises.

Simon Moses went for a scan and did not train.

Ola Aina was also on the sidelines at the start of the team A vs Team B but came in as a sub for Elderson in team B.. One of them will be dropped, it seems.

Loving Agu is not enough to take him ahead of more established players except he wants issues with the NFF. Etebo na pinnick boy.

If he so much love Agu, how come he used him sparingly during qualifiers?

ACLsports recap of training

To Recap: After initial warm up with the team Wilfred Ndidi trained alone. He had a bit of physio on the sideline on that hamstring. Will be a surprise if he plays vs England.

Moses Simon arrived with the team BUT did NOT train. Went in to have a scan with at the Barnet FC medical facility.

Ola Aina did not train with the team at the start but later came on to replace Elderson Echiejile. Victor Moses and John Mikel Obi trained fully. Oghene Etebor looked really, really sharp.

Tomorrow's training will be at Wembley Stadium

chaiiii...... Finally..... Phew..... It took a lot to get this out of you....

Ovie plays for England youth team.... Ruled out.
Same as tega...... And ojo..... All ruled out for now... They cannot be invited at this moment...they are not interested in us sef o.. And they even play for lower division teams o.

Nawa for you o bros. Small time u go tell us say their league rate pass Holland division 2 . We agree.... So them be special talent too....

Finally... We dr end up with aluko and ajagun..... So you and forgiveness nor de tire....

How is aluko competing with nwakali.... Is he a future prospect.... Aluko is competing with Mikel, ogu, and Joel or even Agu.... Currently he is not part of the team so how do you expect him to be in the world cup...... Besides what special thing has he done this season to warrant a call ahead of established team members.....

Do you now see that your argument is flawed. You criticism of nwakali has no basis cos simply there is no future prospect better and available right now... Gerrit

BTW nor de call yourself made in Warri cos you have no idea what it means.... Abeg.... We fit liv one or two for ur sclero.... Jus kponkpi.....

All of them are far higher in rating and ability than Nwakali, by the way i have talked to all of them and the willingness to play for Nigeria is not in question but our approach is.

I could bring in a lot more but just those for now, but that's not my focus but rather the system of selection that enthrones subjective favoritism over objective proven performance.

In reality Tega, Sei and Ovie are way far ahead they are not just future prospects but current top performers, they have all played a few games for their parent teams in the EPL a feat that is very far away if not near impossible for Nwakali in Arsenal as it stands.

The Eredivisie is rated 14th in Europe by UEFA it would therefore not be without credence to rate the Eerste Divisie as way below the Championship more on par with National conference and or league 2.

In reality we can look at players in the lower leagues to make comparison who i consider much better.

Eberechi Eze - http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-5662421/QPR-striker-Eberechi-Eze-worth-keeping-eye-spring-life-instant.html

The issue is not future prospects that is for the U17 at age 20 you are not proving prospects you are showing it
, something Nwakali has failed to do at club level. Dismissing Aluko is to miss the point we are looking at players irrespective of age who can be prospective players for the SE that can bring quality. In this regard is Nwakali currently better than Hope Akpan ? he is playing at far higher level and getting recognition No he is not.

Our quality bar has dropped and so we can now look at outstanding talents in lower leagues because we have limited quality players as it stands.

Finally , you call Nwakali best future prospect , but you base it on ABSOLUTELY NOTHING just sentiment, state his stats, present continuous that make him a future prospect.

In my last two posts i gave you countless examples of supposed future prospects in English football that TOTALLY FLOPPED, that cost way more money than Nwakali, you have chosen to completely ignore these substantiated facts. Instead you are making irreverent comments without substance, just sentiment to buttress your position.

Why not humble yourself and learn and become enlightened.

Lets face harsh reality we are not going to use cohesive passing to outplay teams , but the 4-4-2 option gives us the possibilty to buly our way through matches with Ighalo and Simi.

Oga, Abdul Ajagun and Ebere Eze are likened to the living dogs doing well in their clubs at the moment.

We are talking about a living dog at the moment.

Are you suggesting that Tega, Ojo, Ovie et al would have been eligible to represent Nigeria in the match against Athletico?

@Bolded: what is different with the approach used in securing Aina, Ebuehi, Ekong, Balogun etc. Was that also the reason why Tammy turned down Pinnick's approach?

Iwobi was in the other set up posted by Joebie. But if we are thinking of a sub, Iwobi can come in for either Ighalo or Vicmo or Musa. Or Simi can be subbed for Iwobi. Iwobi stays on the flanks while Ighalo moves further as the point man.

Oga....Iwobi is a starter.

Iwobi is the owner of that right side even when Simeon was fit,so he is going to start as a winger with Ighalo leading the attack. Victor on the left side and Mikel doing his thing with any of Onazi, Ogu,Joel, Etebo or Agu.

We are discussing the tactical formations posted by Joebie nawww.

However you seem concerned with pressing the point that Iwobi is a starter. That's not an issue to me in the light of the possibility that Simon might not make the cut, my concern is the effectiveness for Iwobi. And thank God many esteemed posters here agree that Iwobi is flat out ineffective on the wings.

And interestingly the coach too is seeing it hence his trying out Iwobi an AM or ten in the last friendly.

If Ogu plays little or no part in the England friendly and Agu plays a part, then i think Ogu will be dropped. Agu played pretty well against DRC when he came on and he appears to be doing well in training according to reports. It is not as clear cut.

We are not likely to start Ighalo and Simy together. They are both natural CF.

Under a 4-4-2 formation in addition to the CF you play a supporting striker that can easily fall deep into the midfield to get balls and also easily joins the attack when on the offensive. That description fits Iheanacho.

We may only play Ighalo and Simi together if we are chasing a game and the coach decides to throw in all his dice. In this case a midfielder or defender may likely be sacrificed for the extra CF to be thrown in.
