The bitter truth is this
If you are skilled , talented , ambitious , intelligent, brilliant and educated. And added to this if you are between the ages of 24-45yrs old. And you are earning 70k per month in Nigeria with no additional source of income coming in and still living in Nigeria with the mindset that Nigeria will get better then Then I am very sorry to say this but you are living a wasted life . The truth is very very bitter but at times we just need to say it as it is
Guy, where you dey since? E don tay wey I see your brake light, o! cheesy

If u are privileged to visit some of these African Nations u will understand that Nigeria is cursed with Wicked and Wrong Leadership...

Are they not people whom we know as family and friends?
Did we not allow them to be our leaders and remain our leaders?
What are those of us who are not wicked and who know what is right doing to get better leaders?

oga that na your own. Maybe village people are holding you.

My destiny and yours can't be the Same

Lol... this my broda sef.

Sure thing, our paths aren't similar most likely, but leave village people out of it, the last person they'll think of holding is me cos I'm out of their league and reach already. I'm doing relatively well for myself cos I took an opportunity when it came and that involves being prepared for it. How ready are you if an opportunity shows up now? No body wants a man that is there for papers alone. I see some guys who do that here and you'll just want to puke in disgust.

Learn a skill expertly or something to set you apart, just migrating to el dorado with nothing doesn't always end up well.

Just a piece of advice.

start where

Leaving Nigeria is always a better bet

Too much criminality under one roof in Nigeria

Bro, I'm not debating that. I had my fair share of injustice before I left.
What I mean is he should at least have something to show of his own before leaving... a small business he could run, a skill he's expertly good in, a decent degree, anything.

Nobody will give you visa when they sense you're most likely going there to wash plate.

If an opportunity shows up now, he doesn't seem prepared to cash in on it.

Well I have lived in some other African countries, and yes, especially if you are an entrepreneur, moving to another stable African counter could be the best thing you could ever do

Life in Abidjan is lovely, life in Accra too is also lovely but I prefer Abidjan

When I stayed in Cotonou and Abomey Calavi, life was slower than what I am used to, but I loved it.

Lome is VERY SMALL and Ouaga is also a bit slow.

Liberia and Sierra Leone to me are even more shitty than Nigeria, but they have business potential too

Sadly the Lebanese and Chinese are the ones profiting, especially in Freetown

so guys, with proper planning and God on your side, you will most definitely succeed out there
why do you prefer Abidjan to Accra

I get you .but my point is it's almost impossible to generalise camerounians cos its the only bilingual country I know in Africa (I mean where a certain percentage of the population speaks a particular official language and the other speaks another )but what I realised is that the anglos and francos are two different kind of humans entirely. While the French are more friendlier and honest to a fault most of English guys have this too wise too sharp attitude and approach to things .
the Francos are typical Europeans but the anglos are Nigerians very rude

True. I understand you very well. If you're able to escape then please do.

Just remember that it could be so much tougher out there if you don't have relevant skill sets.

Some places like Canada would require you to have Canadian work experience most of the time before you can be employed or at least Canadian education.

Make sure you plan your traveling to the tiniest detail so that you don't get stranded. All the best.

maybe it depends on the location. Mombasa does not have constant power supply.
