TheGoodJoe: How many Nigerian origin players from England are playing in European football academies Compared to boys who have come directly from Nigeria. With regards to getting into European football academies in my experience yes. I have been to quite a few clubs in Portugal, Belguim, Holland and last week I was in Germany. So I have a fairly good first hand experience of what I am talking about. |

If Rohr drops Ogu for Agu, Etebo or Joel, me, I will shout nepotism here. None of those three has done anything spectacular enough to unseat Ogu, if we are all looking at things reasonable. Whether in club or National team, Ogu trumps all three players, so, all this talk of Rohr likes this one, that one is a golden boy, this one is a workhorse is rubbish None of them is better than Ogu by any stretch. 5 Likes |

Coaches have preferences based on how they want to play. Let’s not forget too quickly how Shehu branched Agu at the later part of the season repeatedly at Bursaspor. forgiveness: 1 Like |

komekn:I know you cannot understand what I am saying, that is why you will quote me and be writing off point. Football is Mathematics, why didn't Argentina win us in November? Football is Mathematics, how did Spain crash out in group stage in 2014? Football is Mathematics, how come Iceland is in the World Cup and Italy isn't? Football is Mathematics, why isn't Niangollan in the Belginan national team? Football is not mathematics, because contrary to the off point argument you made here, coaches do not always look to stats to field players. They consider other things. If it was by stats, why will a coach switch players for different games? Why not play the same people all the time because they have better stats? Abeg, if you don't understand a point, don't bother quoting it. 1 Like |

Joebie:I remember telling icon4s that he should know better about PH choice for DR Congo match. NFF took the match to PH for their personal gain not for eagles. I just don't know when we are going to put an end to this trash. Imagine a WC friendly on that stuff just coz of monetary gain and not considering the risk involved. I don tire 1 Like |

andrew444:Is this not why I say most of us here read superficially? He is analysing things based on feelers from camp not necessarily giving his preference as to who is dropped or retained. Let's endeavour to read deep some bit. It would help reduce unnecessary arguments here. I have not seen tbaba1234's response to your post but I can pre-empt what he'd say in response to your query. 1 Like |

This thread is moving at the speed of light. People, pls be summarising your points. As for our friendly tomorrow, I wish Eagles can at least disgrace the English team. I will be watching the match with biased ITV or BBC commentary, and I know how they will hype their players. I want to see us dribble them, and score spectacular goals. Oh...and please no Harry Kane goal. I'm not a fan of that guy. 1 Like |

tbaba1234: The problem did not start when Rashidi ran with the ball into the net, it already started before that goal because second players that rushed to meet the ball before he scored did not with joy ran to the net to meet him but rather went away. They were envious of each others achievement and there was in fighing already in camp. The celebration only exposed the intent of their heart. Besides, Rashidi had 1 or two assists in the competition. What is problem if the team is doing well without Rashidi scoring a goal? |

Joebie:Ogu is the choice of any reasonable person. There is no sensible reason why he should be dropped for any of those three. So, all these Team Joel, Team Etebo and the two people in Team Agu, should know that none of those three are better than Ogu currently 2 Likes 1 Share |
