The biggest problem the black man has is unity. Look at Forgiveness and his English friend and how they have tried to tear this thread apart but they have not succeeded because we have true African brothers here...Mujtahida dey , Joebie dey , Nerdie dey, Icons4 dey and my phucking self dey too.

By the way , Uche Okechukwu has always been a very cool guy

I know you well. You only love the slogan of brotherhood and unity when things favors you. I mean as long as it favors you.

There can never be unity in injustice. Be deceiving yourself.

Meaning Iwobi can be played too as SS besides nancho?
while Simmy provide cover for Ighalo

Iwobi can also play SS.

And what do you mean by Simy providing cover for Ighalo.

Iwobi is such a utility player. A gift to this team. I wonder when people say he should sit on the bench and wait for Mikel to get tired.

when you guys keep saying iwobi is not good in the wings it makes me laugh

these same people will say we don't have a number 10, abeg does it mean iwobi don't have a wing??

The truth Is or else you play a 4-4-2 you actually don't really require a true winger that sill need to connect with the 2 forward.

we play 4-2-3-1 just like iwobi team arsenal, when you play that formation, the 3 guys behind the lone striker interchange at some time and also go forward to assist the long striker, they are not really wingers. in arsenal you will see players like Ozil,Mkhitaryan and iwobi playing there...they are all potential number 10 and non is a true winger.

Jose mourinho adopted that same style in chelsea playing the likes of Hazard,Willian and Oscar behind a striker, non is a true winger
I feel that Iwobi needs space to flourish and if you want him to be effective he should play more centrally not as a false winger who needs to cut into the midfield. He should be a midfielder who drifts wide to the lines not a false winger who drifts to the middle. Granted I'm not a coach but that's my hunch.

I do not want Ogu dropped. I am just analyzing the situation as it stands.

Joel Obi appears to be Ndidi's replacement, that means Agu or Ogu are in danger of getting dropped. The choice of who will be dropped is not so clear cut. It is actually quite dicey.

I personally think Ogu has played better than Agu so far. If faced with the choice of both, i will probably drop Agu.
I see it as Joel's last opportunity to show us what he's got up his sleeves

It’s so obvious. That’s why we are light years behind as a country. Now how would the players feel?
The NFF guys are real typical Nigeria politicians.

Do you think they care about eagles or Nigeria football than we do.

My man they don't care.

What makes you a special talent is when you currently, consistently perform with that special talent year in and year out with commensurate upwards progression.

You certainly do not rely on past glories or using the national team set up to market your failing career.

I'll give you an example Dembele noticed him at 16 2012 at Fulham thay bought him from PSG he simply kept progressing. At 18 he was the top striker with the highest goal tally in all youth leagues. January last year Chelsea bid stupid money for him Celtic refused.

Dele Alli
Gomez
Raheem
Rashford
Lukaku
Pogba
Dembele
Mbappe
Ssegnon

All these players were considered special talents very early on even at the age of 9 years old and they kept progressing. They didn't have to play for obscure clubs or leagues. Thier outstanding talent kept pushing them forward not backwards. Where are they now Bible says " A man's gift will make way for him and cause him to stand before Kings" paraphrase.

The only person calling these guys special talent is you and the esteemed all-knowing coaching crew or the NFF. Nobody else of substance is, don't you think it's food for thought to reconsider your opinion based on anothers opinion.

Dont you think ❓ ❓ Nwokem

Look at Seyi Ojo bought for £1.8 million at the age of 14. Just turned 21 now and although doing ok i would not call him special talent anymore.

I could talk about Dan Tricket Smith considered special talent by Liverpool they paid near £350k for him at age 16, he was released in 2016, he is now within 1 year playing NON LEAGUE.

John Cofie was a team mate of Pogba when they won the youth cup. He was bought from Burnley at the age of 14 for £1 million by Man United. The accolades that followed him where crazy the next Drogba, etc, etc. He was released by United in 2013 before he was 21. He dropped so low that he began playing non league he is only 24 now.

Youthful exceptional talent has a sell by date after that it has expired if it has not been proven on the professional field of play.

I can count hundreds if not thousands of players that had Way more accolades that Nwakali and cost a lot more £££ than he did. I know players brought from Canada France etc within one year or two dropped. Some allowed to stay in the U23 and stagnate with dust. When time reach you are sweepf out and forgotten.

Meanwhile the esteemed all-knowing coaching crew of the NFF is still looking at past glories.

In football what you need is opportunity to show your talent but opportunity should be deserved not awarded by favour.

When I look at the number of skilful talented boys of African Nigerian origin that play in non league and lower leagues you guys would be gob smacked. But they never got opportunity. Why that's a long story and corruption is intrinsically linked in with it.

You have spoken well but you got the wrong person. He will not understand simple fact because his heart is full of corruption.

He is in the Eerste Divisie the second tier of Dutch football. The Dutch Eredivisie league is rated 14 in Europe much below the Austrian, Swiss and Turkish leagues.

We are also talking about 2nd tier, Kluivert a clear and identified special talent plays in the Eredivisie for Ajax.

So do you think that it's in The Eerste Divisie that a special talent should be playing in. If he was special playing in a moi moi league and club by now he should have scored goals in double figures, have multiple MOTM awards and be the outstanding stand out player in that league.

Considering your stance how many goals MOTM awards How many clubs are clamouring to sign him. I recall Pogba left Manchester United U21 straight into Juventus first team at 20, I wonder WHY ❓ ❓

This is not about Nwakali per se but the system that selects players for national team selection based on past glories or assumed potential without any underpinning based on performance.

Yes onazi form is bad,I am not even comfortable of him starting

Onazi was the best in the midfield in that congo match, he gave simmy the pass to hit the post, he gave nacho through pass that he wasted, he played the free kick that resulted to the goal, he was all over the place in the midfield.

He might not be the darling of this group but let's criticize players constructively

Haven't you heard?... Training performance is different from match day performance!

Performance in training can be highly deceptive
He is the king of underperformers and he has been consistent in that regard. Makes it easy for one to judge him.

But then I wish him all the best. Who knows what magic the land of the bear may work on his brain and legs.

If Nigeria play like they played during the qualifiers then England will be beaten. England is not a good side at all - ive watched there qualifying games and they were atrocious. Nigeria can beat them and that includes Croatia, Iceland (Iceland I suspect will be tough for all the teams - you watch) and Argentina ( they have big problems - did you see them against Haiti - terrible)

Nigeria will dictate the game - watch and see

This current English team do not keep possession as much. They rely on counter attacks.

Don't be deceived.

It a very good test to prepare for Iceland match. They play with similarity but England has better talents which can make a difference.

This is a 5 star comment.

They would rather put Iwobi on the bench and wait for Mikel to get tired before bringing him in.
And when Mikel is tired be ready for a midfield collapse because even bringing in Musa and Iwobi drifting into the middle will not save us cos Iwobi go don tire.

Yeah, but I just see him as the missing link we've been needing since almost a decade or more.
We always lose steam towards 65mins and so lapses come in and we lose or disappoint the fans.

Joel fits the player that would sustain intensity. That's the angle I'm actually seeing his usefulness.

SE have alwaysacked his kind. Been long.

These are the guys that would determine our performance not the likes of Mikel and Moses cos a good bench tells the depths of a team.

Yes. What is contradicting there. Mind you I'm drawing from your exposition that arsenal uses false wingers (as you called them) who interchange and move into the center(if I understand you correctly). I'm saying it should be the other way round. Iwobi needs space in his head to play in a flow. The lines restricts him even if he has to drift to the middle.
