Naija Jersey went on sale online in U.K at 10:a.m and sold out in two minutes 10:02 a.m this morning. People are also queueing up in various Nike stores in the U.K. to buy it.
I think @thenff needs to review its contract with Nike.

That's the rub. It's not in the least contradictory. When you are positioned to play centrally with liberty to drift to the flanks it's not the same thing as being deployed on the wings with liberty to move into the center. They are different but not contradictory. I can slap from left to right does not contradict slap from right to left. Gerrit? Yet one of those slaps will be more effective than the other depending on the ability of the slapper.

slap is different, iwobi is like a iniesta in 2010 worldcup, Spain had a lot of quality in the middle but iniesta still had room to play, you can see him occasionally drifting in and out and out.

slap happens in a split of seconds

Do we really have a Plan B at all?! Is Mikel a Machine?! Even Machine gets breakdown sometimes. You can't keep playing Mikel 90mins in every Match without him getting fatigued.

Mikel can be subbed for Iwobi, probably in the 75th Minute upward. Iwobi and Co are young, they are the Future of the Eagles for God's sake.

Does he get the Pace to utilize a counter-attack Move?! Why on the Wing? Why not in the middle as the Team's Joker?!
Wo, ko ye mi rara. We are afraid of midfield collapse but we have no plan to accommodate it in case it happens. Not that it has not been happening ooo so that one can be excused if no plan B. It has been happening, time after time. Iwobi himself noticed it in the course of the Poland and Serbia friendlies and drifted into the middle (disobediently as one foreign writer put it ). Rohr deployed him specifically there against Congo.

Something has to be done about this world cup hasn't even started and Jersey is sold out.

This is bad management decision and forecast by Nike...

Let Nike contract its production out, within a week they can get a restock so that people can get this Jersey

Thanks for reminding me Hazard and De Bruyne play the same Position on the Pitch. Sometimes I do find it baffling the kinda style of your Arguments.

How many Times Dudes would say Mikel and VicMo are the Heartbeats of the Eagles?! In fact they are the Wings of the Eagle according to some Folks. Do you know..... why cos the Team lacks creativity without them.

Now ask yourself, why the Team lacks creativity despite the presence of Iwobi in the Team?! The Answer is as clear as Daybreak, coz he's wrongly used on the Pitch.

What's Etebo doing in the Hole?! Is he a Playmaker, Creator or what?! Why wasting Iwobi on the Wing when you know he's less productive there and can easily fade off in the Position?!

I've said it before, Iwobi played not as a Winger at Arsenal; don't be fooled by the Lineup, rather pay Attention to it's Interpretations on the Pitch. Iwobi play as an AM with freedom to roam and swap Position(s) with other AMs.

I don't know why simple Arithmetic does turn to further Maths most time on this Forum. I made a Point, if you have a contrary view, tackle it with verifiable Stats and let's engaged in a healthy Debate instead of getting emotional and ending up being sentimental.

if Mr Mujtahida and Icon04 can remember i actually talked about that(your second to the last paragraph)If you can agree that he can play in that right side or left in arsenal his club, what is your problem with him doing it in Nigeria

And no the problem is not maths or further maths, the problems is patient and reading and not jumping to conclusion.

Failure won't do him good at all, coz Every Football-loving Nigerian is an Analyst. Despite the Loss of the B-Team to A. Madrid, they still earned Accolades and Assurances from Nigerian Fans.

Kelechi Brothers, Musa, Muhammad and Co trend on Twitter partially with People calling for their immediate Inclusion in the A-Team, it happened on Nairaland FP too, even on this Thread.

Nigerians are fickle-minded, we are quick forgotten. However if he fails tactically and woefully, Lord..... I pity the Day he appended his Siggy on the Contract Extension Documents.

Onazi is an important member of the super eagles and he played well in the qualifiers no doubt.

Onazi has a deep in form, are you going to compare the congo game to the world cup? i dont want to bring some games which onazi didnt pass accurate, seems you are only looking at the congo game then no problem about that,i dont know how you see the congo game, but the congo game i watch was irritating, wont say more than this for now because at the 2018 world cup onazi is a sure starter alondside mikel and ndidi.

no i was not only looking at the congo match, against Cameroon he gave the assist for iheanacho goal.

see my point is you can't just say a player has been poor and can give an accurate pass of recent without evidence, is not fair to the player.

I think everyone here should learn how to criticize our player constructively

Eagles’ BEST Eleven Ahead Of World Cup Clashes In Russia
June 1, 2018 10:26 am

The Super Eagles are 15 days away from their Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup first Group D match against Croatia in Kaliningrad. Gernot Rohr on Wednesday dropped four players from his 30-man provisional list, thus making his final 23 predictable. Completesportsnigeria.com’s JOHNNY EDWARD looks at the eleven players who fits Rohr’s likely 4-3-3 line-up formation for the game against Croatia on June 16, barring any last minute injury.

GOALKEEPER:
Francis Uzoho (Deportivo La Coruna)
Since his debut for Nigeria in the 4-2 international friendly win over Argentina last November, Francis Uzoho has continued to grow in confidence and composure in goal for Nigeria. Though he has kept only one clean sheet in three starts (four appearances in all) for Nigeria, Uzoho remains the best performing goalkeeper in the team at the moment. With Ikechukwu Ezenwa dropped and Daniel Akpeyi still not back to his very best, Uzoho remains a sure bet to be in goal for Nigeria in Russia.
It’s unfortunate that Francis Uzoho could only manage two appearances for the first team of Deportivo La Coruna before his move to the B team in the third tier division in Spain where he kept 15 clean sheets and conceded 17 goals in 26 appearances.

RIGHT-BACK:
Shehu Abdulahi (Bursaspor)
Shehu Abdullhi remains the best option for the Super Eagles at right-back. The duo of Ola Aina and Tyronne Ebuehi have not posted convincing performances to prove that they can dislodge him in that position. Since his move away from Anorthosis Famagusta of Cyprus, Abdullahi has improved with deliveries, and on his back-tracking as well.

LEFT-BACK:
Elderson Echiejile (Cercle Brugge)
AS Monaco defender, Echiejile, is not up to his best level but in terms of his experience, has an edge over Bryan Idowu and Ola Aina who are in competition for the two available spots at left back with him. The pair of Idowu and Aina lack experience at the biggest stage and both have not been convincing in the games they have played for the team.
The 30 year old defender made his most recent appearance for the Super Eagles in Monday’s 1-1 draw with DR Congo and was replaced at half time following his below par performance, but he remains the first choice pick.

CENTRE-BACKS:
Leon Balogun and William Troost Ekong
Fondly dubbed the Oyinbo wall, the duo of Leon Balogun and William Troost Ekong have formed a great partnership playing together in the heart of the Super Eagles defence. They look guaranteed as the first choice starters as he Super Eagles’ centre-backs in Russia. Ekong’s aerial prowess and pace have also been complemented with Balogun’s brilliance, ball-winning and passing skills.

MIDFIELDERS:
Ogenyi Onazi (Trabzonspor)
Since recovering from the hamstring injury he copped while playing for his club, Trabzonspor, Ogenyi Onazi is gradually getting back into good shape. His performance for his club towards the end of the 2017/18 campaign has seen him play his way back into Gernot Rohr’s plans for the World Cup.

Wilfred Ndidi (Leicester City)
Ndidi enjoyed an outstanding season with Leicester City in the English Premier League season until he sustained an hamstring injury. The 21 year old midfielder was perhaps the most in-form Nigerian midfielder until his injury. He is expected to play a part in Saturday’s international friendly against England at Wembley.
Ndidi, who was voted Leicester City’s Young Player of the Year has flourished playing alongside Onazi in the defensive midfield role.

Mikel Obi (Tianjin TEDA)
Super Eagles captain, Mikel Obi brings the creative spark for the team going forward. His wealth of experience will be massively needed by the team to unlock tight defences. His guile and calmness on the ball helped the three-time African champions dictate the pace of the game during the qualifiers. If the Super Eagles are to shine in Russia, Mikel must be at his very best to help the team blossom.

RIGHT-WING:
Ahmed Musa (CSKA Moscow/ Leicester City)
Ahmed Musa’s scoring form improved when he joined CSKA Moscow on loan from Leicester City in January, and that also helped him play his way back into reckoning with the Super Eagles. Musa scored seven goals in 16 appearances for the Russian side after a miserable first half of the season with Leicester City, where he made only one appearance for the first team. On current form, Musa will be preferred to Alex Iwobi who has been inconsistent and Moses Simon who is currently nursing a thigh injury.

LEFT-WING:
Victor Moses (Chelsea)
Victor Moses had an outstanding season for Chelsea in the English Premier League as the dethroned champions salvaged their season by winning the Emirates FA Cup. Moses has been performing well at the l top level and his freshness heading into the World Cup will offer the Super Eagles another dimension in attack.

STRIKER:
Odion Ighalo (Changchun Yatai)
Odion Ighalo is certain to start games for Nigeria at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. He has shown that if he gets the creative support from the midfield, will deliver. The former Watford striker is capable of playing alone up front and will trouble defenders with his trickeries on the ball and pace. So far he has scored seven goals in 11 Chinese Super League games for his team, Changchun Yatai.

Tactics......! playing on the Side(s) of the Midfield doesn't mean you are a Winger, wing-forward precisely. Ask yourself this simple Question pls....... does Arsenal play on the Wing?! Do they play with Wingers?!

If we are talking of being patient, read before jumping to Conclusion; then I suggest you need to heed your own Advice. You really don't care whatever the Points anyone gives as far as its contrary to your view...... why?!

Can you compare all our Wingers based on their Stats and perhaps make your Conclusions on who deserves to be play on the Wing?!

I am unreasonable to some I see Ogu, with his lack of mobility, slow recovery and snail pace as a liability in fast paced match. Even his passion range us far from excellent his way too PREDICTABLE.

You need unpredictable inventiveness through the productive use of skill, vision and flair in midfield to be dominate and beat your opponent.

you actually don't need all the spead in the world to be a good midfielder, how about his other quality.

*nice short passes
*good body balance
*intercepting ability because of his ability to read the game well
*good left foot shots that result to goals
*good with air both for attacking or defending

That’s just one of his 5 goals. And besides that was a cut back pass. I repeat crosses is still an important aspect of the game. It’s one more option when others have failed. And u need to have that option. We have see. Onazi drift out to do it. Somebody also has to provide that option from the left. Iwobi sent us to the World Cup because of that tactical change. If you go many pages back you will see when I said there is a gap in the middle of Zambia’s defense we needed to exploit. I said that in the first half. He did just that — something he is best known for.

Modified
Let me add that Shehu cannot cross shit. We have other players that can cross from the right. We also need that from the left — that’s balance. Who is gonna drift out to the left and make that cross when it is needed most?

The more options — in terms of what the players can bring — u have in your team is what keeps you dynamic

This is about the 35 man list for the 2018 WORLD CUP. Rohr confirmed there was a 35 man list.

Therefore, the 35 man list is not meant for U23 players. Stop deceiving yourself.

You have shown your stereotype mentality against Ajagun by calling him a old washed up player without backing up your claims with facts.

It's the name you have problem with and not the ability and the progess of the player because if it's about the ability and performance of a player over the years, you will not call a player who has done better than Agu and Ogu in regards to club football this season.

Going by the two faced double standard fellow's logic, Abdul Ajagun performed better in a more highly rated league than both Ogu and Agu this season and he is the only consistent AMF Nigerian player in the top 10 European league. I mean he played and performed in the AMF role well this season.

Was that not the league Ndidi was called to the national team despite been a bench warmer before he went ahead to do well?

What did Agu do this season in Turkey? I don't even have problem with him.

As it stands, Agu and Ogu don't have a better career than Abdul Ajagun who performed in a better league (Belgium pro league) than these two players in Turkish and Isreali league.

What I deduced from you is, you have a stereotype mentality against names like Ajagun and Aluko else you would have backed up your argument with facts.

Mujtahida:

If Mikel can sustain his energy, fine but in case he doesn't nko? How will the midfield cope when you know from experience how it has played out over five matches without Mikel in the middle.

It can cut both ways. That's why it requires tactical thinking not that it is taken for granted that Iwobi must start and must play from the wings.

We are even agreed that Iwobi can play from the wings inspite of our realisation that he's not been quite effective. But you are not even ready to look at him in the middle (when Mikel is there cos Mikel will not get tired and will never get tired). You make it sound like it's forbidden, like it's a taboo. Under no condition do you want to see Iwobi in the middle but thank God the last friendly vindicated most of us here. Roh is thinking to see Iwobi from the middle!

We have all decried our midfield collapse (in some matches it's not even collapse, cos from the beginning the midfield disappears fiam) yet to use Iwobi there under any condition is like sacrilege. I don't understand.

his not saying iwobi can't play in the middle

Like I don’t know. Stats is not everything. It MAY have worked for his clubs because of the chemistry in the team. Which player in the SE right now can pull a cross from the left. Victor Moses a true winger because he can do almost anything from there. Cut in, he can. Dribble he can. Crosses he can. I don’t care who we deploy as a left winger as long as we have someone who can deliver that cross when it is most needed.
That one moment could be the match decider.

He did just that — something he is best known for.

Let me add that Shehu cannot cross shit. We have other players that can cross from the right. We also need that from the left — that’s balance. Who is gonna drift out to the left and make that cross when it is needed most?

The more options — in terms of what the players can bring — u have in your team is what keeps you dynamic

we don't need to do this and that to win the worldcup, we only need to do what we can do well to win the worldcup. everyteam is different.
