You ought to know what should be defended then. It takes a reasonable inner eyes to see what Baba wants to achieve. It goes a long way beyond the hike in price of rice and biscuits.

Think critically bro, the end justifies the means.

And on the streets we have a general slang, no be starting mata, na FINISHING

Re: Defending Me, A Herculean Task ― Buhari by IbnAbdullah1(m): 9:28pm On Jun 01, 2018
It is indeed sad people tend to label people without taking time to research properly.
I know the Nigerian mentality too well and they have not changed one bit,and this current generation are even worst.
They call you names and even verbally crucify you when you are in office like they did to Yar'adau during his tenure by calling him "Baba go-slow" may Allaah shower his mercy upon him,but the moment he left they started singing his praises and literarily deifying him.
They have not stopped with Buhari and I am predicting the same result as this is our usual style.
Albeit, as bad as many people paint him, I still feel Buhari is only option we have to make some real progress.
However, everything is still left to God and possibly(if God permits) the electorates.

I just hope you are not a christian, because if you are? Then shame! We will pray for sense for you. Jesus from the bible was a wise leader who led by WISDOM and INTELLIGENCE. He fed his people first, healed the sick, and most of all never taught what he didn't practice . Think before typing .THanks!

Deep down this man knows he can never come back, THE JIG IS UP. I wonder tho, so after all these years of trying to become president, you will think he actually had the solution to Nigeria's problems

OK. Pls bear with me. I just want us 2b on d same page. So if we say contract means agreement, would it safe 2 break it down further to say it is a r/ship which involves at least 2 parties seeking mutual benefits from each other. That is, d parties involved in d contract get into d contract with d promise of providing benefit 2 each other as a condition 4 receiving benefits from each other. Do u agree with this?

a simple example of a contract is when u take ur cloth to ur tailor to sew something 4u 4 an occasioned. When u get to his shop, u tell.him what u want him 2 sew 4u. D tailor doesn't decide d style 4u. Also, u agree on price, giving him part of d money and date of collection let's say a week. After a week, u visit him ur cloth isn't ready and then u hear excuses and then he gives u another date. U come around again, then another round of excuses. And this goes on 4a while. How would u feel? Lets say d cloth is ready and it isn't what u asked d guy to sew, how would u feel?

Bad.
When we talk about social contract, its d same as any normal contract. D only difference is that its between u and ur elected representatives. When d electorate vote 4a politician, its a contract. Politicians are like banks or telecom companies that need customers. So they market themselves (campaign) promising 2 provide social services if they can get d votes of d electorate. When Nigerians voted 4 buhari, they entered into a contract with him. There are two ways of assessing d performance of govt in terms of their contract, by their campaign promises and by their constitutional responsibilities. D terms of d contract is clear just like with ur tailor or with ur bank. U don't need inner eye to no if d president is performing or not. All u need to do is look at his campaign promises and his constitutional responsibilities. If u saying we need an "inner eye" to no if buhari is working, then that means he isn't working. Cause if he were, u will need ur physical eyes 2c d results. If u dont need inner eyes to c if ur tailor has sewn ur cloth, y would u need that 4d president? D president isn't doing u a favour. He owes u a duty 2 deliver d terms of d contract that made him president. He owes u

I see where you are going. It's like saying my parents have failed for not buying me a stuff I was promised. The truth of the matter is that it could come later or sooner. That he has not fulfilled all campaing promises doesn't mean he isn't doing anything. Need I tell you how his efforts are being frustrated by cabals and opposition? I will stop here and not further on this discussion for evident reasons. Thanks for the social contract lessons.
