it wont by God's .i used.fertil aid and parlodel to conceive my last child.even then i didnt menstruate. any side effect of using clomid? i believe when i use it, i will ovulate.

Your doctor will tell you when in your menstrual cycle to start taking the tablets.

For the first course of treatment, take one tablet a day for five days

If you do not have a period after the first course of treatment your doctor will increase your dose to two tablets a day for five days

You should start this second course at least 30 days after the first course
You will not usually take more than three courses of treatment.

If ovulation does not happen after three courses talk to your doctor.

Good day Dr. Please, can letrozole (femara) be used to treat endometrial hyperplasia if trying to conceive? How effective is the treatment and is there any side effects? Thanks.

Letrozole is a good trial for endometrial hyperplasia, and by swerve consistent in helping infertility. There is a possibility of either having a low Estradiol after use,or just more.

Thanks for the response Dr. I think the endrometrial hyperplasia is caused by too much estrogen and low progesterone (hormonal imbalance). Although I ovulate regularly. For how long does one take the letrozole?

Depends on the one that gave the letrozole for the endometrial hyperplasia.

When was the last time you had a check on your endometrium, or rather pelvic ultrasonography?

I did TVS, about 3 months ago. I had 20mm endometrial lining thickeness caused by clomid, but I haven't gone for another check up, since then

Go and do it again, and this time with endometrial biopsy to confirm this endometrial atypical or hyperplasia.

Do you mean to tell she has been having a consistent heavy bleeding anytime she sees her flow till now?
If so,how many days does it last?

Or,do you mean she has been bleeding heavily althrough her cycle from March till now?
If so,why has she been this drawing back to visit the clinic for a case of either AUB or DUB or metrorrhagia.
Has she done hormone profiling to see if it is all about low progesterone?
How large is the ovarian cyst? Does it follow with other discomforting characteristics apart from this bleeding?
Finally, how old is she? Has she been known to have issues with clotting after an injury?

For the present she should make use of Norethisterone plus folic acid plus vitamin K and then to it Vitamin B12. This may help. However, if it continues other measures may need to be applied.

If you don't mind, she may need talk with me in private. Charges applied.

Peppery sensation around after may result from any of the following factors:

1. inconsistency to wetness of the vagina during sex. This does not mean you weren't wet down during the love act but somehow during this play exudations resulting from orgasm weren't forth happening, and thus the love canal came dried. The cause could be normal or stress-related.

2. ulceration of the vagina. It is related to sexually transmitted disease(STD) or some infection associating with the part leading to urination. Ulceration of the vagina is also linker between some self-immunity conditions too.

3. Wrong use of synthetic fluid for vaginal dryness.

4.Sign of low estrogen.

It is no new thing that a woman may menstruation before her purposed menstrual cycle ending. And sometimes it is normal. So,if you experience this now,get to know that common underlying factors are:

1. stress
2. imbalance between progesterone and estrogen
3. largely normal and may not repeat again with the next coming cycles.
4. inconsistency in knowing the very date you are suppose to menstruate may be due to fluctuations in your cycle. So,you might have wrongly counted.
5.Pelvic inflammatory disease.

A cloudy urine is sign of a urinary tract infection or lower intestinal infection. It is expected of you to do a urethral swab to know causative agent to your condition.

So,please seek the support of a private clinic to closely monitor your condition and if you have done the culturing before now,you need have him view it so as to know what to do or give to ensure a proper condition for your pregnancy.

Full term! all the best.

Good day Doc,

I had a miscarriage 2 months ago and have had 2 menstrual cycles so far. I am currently on cycle day 24, from cycles day 13 to 20,I had almost what felt like pregnancy symptoms (nausea, fatigue, frequent urination, lots of sleeping, salivating),i have had thick white CM from CD 20 to 23. surprisingly all these symptoms vanished apart from the thick CM have vanished.

Now,my problem is this, the left side of my abdomen feels very hard and also feels like there is a small lump there.it is not painful though.i only feel it when I strain myself or press the area. I noticed this lump about 4 days ago.
NB: my miscarriage was at 16 weeks and 4 days. I expelled the foetus out and later had a d and c.the foetus was always at the left side of the uterus.

Could it be that I am pregnant again?
Could the lump be an indication of something else?

Please help me out as I am worried?

Cc:2ballz

Thank you.

Let's discuss this on my WhatsApp line, madam. Though charges are applicable.

Good morning Dr,
Am in my 5wks4days of my first pregnancy. However, I have been experiencing severe abdominal pains (upper & lower abdomen) for the past one week ago. The scan/lab results showed that I have PID & Ulcer respectively. Kindly advise on what to do as the medications given me have not really reduced/stop the pains. The drugs given to me are: Duphaston, paracetamol & folic acid with the promise that PID treatment will be done later because of my early stage of pregnancy.
Warm regards,

Warm regards,

Good morning Presh,
Regarding the cause of discpmfort,I must really presume that your first set of medication may not really be helping. Though reasons for Duphaston and folic acid is well understood.
To when was the treatment for the meant to be?
What was the agent of PID cultured?

If Peptic ulcerative disease was diagnosed and of the weeks of mention,it is not highly offensive or risky to use Omeprazole which is a Category C in pregnancy rather than Duphaston and folic which are far off stride to treating your PUD. However, if Peptic ulcer disease is linked to sepsis, then both ulceration and PID can be done with just a Category A antibiotics. But if both causes are separable and distinct, then treatment for PID comes in line to that of the Omeprazole to avoid time wasting which in trying to eschew problems leading to child formation may only lead to.

You may also take diet with the following,they have been found to be helpful in preventing Peptic Ulcer Disease in pregnancy. They are;

Banana
Cayenne pepper
Coconut
Cucumber
Honey
Garlic

You may likely avoid drinking cold fluid, drinking soft drinks or going hunger for any length of time. Report any case of vomiting or nausea.

Regarding behaviour,
1. Drink much water before and after eating.
2. Drink pure and distilled water.
3. Give yourself a stress-free hours during this period
4. Eat less of spicy food
6. Eat less of fried food
7. Take more of fruits
8. Avoid going to bed just after eating.

Regarding your PID,
1.No sex for the now.
2. Treatment plan for you and your husband should come in roll if you have had sex before in the pregnancy.
3. Study your discharges and urine daily.

Finally, you may reach me in-service with my number on WhatsApp for private consultation as to monitor this complaint privately though charges are dully applicable.

A brownish discharge turning dark is as a result of a slow littering of the shedding surface of the uterine lining. When this happens, your spotting gets darker than expected. I am of hope that the discharge will stop before or after the spotting has ceased. You may have to suffer some discomfort as you watch over this.
If it last beyond 3-4 from now come to me ....
