Onazi should never start a match for us again, he belongs to the bench. Joel Obi is a big disgrace , as for him, he should board the next flight back home. Nonsense!
But in all I give to the rest players who played their heart out. They tried!

what he doesn't av in pace, he complements with technicality and strength, and his goal sense, if midfielders do their job well he will get the goals.
You Sabi ball abeg. we no get play makers today,na for second half iwobi took that role... anyway when Ndidi comes back ,Mikel and Ogu go move up front...onazi and Joel obi should be dropped!

Thank you Mikel Obi for promising Buhari that you will bring back the world cup trophy back to Nigeria. Let him also taste how it feels to promise and fail your country..

Rohr wanted to put him in the team after the athletico game but FIFA said the list has been announced, he can only remove not add. he would have been a perfect understudy to Mikel, it's a shame.
He should have done his due diligence before submitting a list to FIFA in the first place.

Nwakili is better than most of our midfielders in the list. He is more mobile, better passing range, and an eye for goal.

That was terrible from Rohr

Definitely Ogu is a better player cos of his versatility.

He proved today he can play as part of a 3 man back line, enabling Rohr to play a 3-5-2 and this cut off the dominance of d English midfield

Funny how people make mistakes with technicality of football, Ogu is quite too heavy and slow; though played out of position but Onazi should not be dropped, Joe Obi should be home... I think Ndidi will player ahead of them all in the mundial, Mikel had a good game... we have a decent goalkeeper, my concern is Iwobi who I think pulled his hamstring

Masherano plays in Chinese league .When your midfielders do not provide passes what will a striker do ?

Which Mascherano? The one that was at the top of his form back in the days or the one that went to China to make more money before he retire. He is only in the Argentina team because of his experience. What has Ighalo achieved before he went to China or how much experience does he have at international level.

Seems you didn't watch the game o. The midfield and attack were the culprit.

This team will gel together as they train intensively. Moses for me was lacklustre in the first half and was obviously selfish with the ball. Abdullah will need to up his game if he doesn't want the smarter Ebuehi to take his place. Onazi and Joel Obi have no business to do in Russia.

Ogu the 'bully' had a decent game but a fit Ndidi will displace him. The Oyinbo wall will need to be faster against pacy wingers at the WC. Etebo played too deep and we couldn't see his dangerous move. Iwobi was super-he needs to do better with his passes. The team still lacks a creative midfielder. Ighalo and Iheanacho were starved. Francis the goalie did well, his reflexes need to improve. Good positioning.

A A decent second half.

Ighalo is not a skillful striker. He can't create something from half-chance. I mean, that's why he plays in the Chinese league. If he is good, he should be playing in a top league. What do you expect when Nigeria's striker to the world cup play in the Chinese league. I am sure this guy would not make the Eagles of the 90's.
I beg to differ, if u watched him when he play at Watford u would av a clue what he is capable of. Don't use this game to judge him, Victor moses too dinnor show up today.

Not a bad team, they just need more pace and decisiveness in the midfield and attack (a bit of creativity as well). And the defence needs to work on defending setpieces.

They played well in the 2nd half and if Mikel had been 7-10 years younger, the outcome would have been different. Great game and even greater atmosphere.

Look at the sea of people

A striker will not perform when your midfielders are full of onazi and joel obi ..... strikers depend on midfielders to shine .Check Ighalo record at Watford ... He went to China to make money

This team looks more assured in the 5-3-2 system

Against Argentina and today in second half

We need to stick to this system

Rohr should have know that England will line up with 3-1-4-2 and matched them from start of the match

there are many players who aren't splendid at club level but do well at international level and vice versa. There are many unskillful strikers who are lethal like Diego Costa in Chelsea cos he got good supply. D way our team plays at d moment especially in d attack, confuses me cos I don't even understand d pattern. In d 90s, there was a pattern as d ball usually came in from d wings, finidi and amunike. In this case, what's d pattern?

If Onazi and Joel Obi go world cup, then i'll know that Gehnot Rohr has join APC.

I have said it times without number Etebo and Ogu should start all matches. Mikel was match rusty, so slow on the ball.

considering nwakali's club situation I think rohr only got the chance to see what he is capable of against athletico. you know that arsenal move might have contributed to him being overlooked, he should have signed for a smaller club even in a smaller league.
