And you think this is a better plan B? Playing ogbu as a defender? Smh for charlatans

You obviously lack comprehension. I'm talking about going to a back 3. Who says it has to be Ogu. But if Ogu can do the job, why not? When Pep, Mourinho or Conte convert the likes of Fabian Delph, Ashley Young or Moses to full backs, wing backs or DM, they are charlatans abi?

If you don't know football go and analyze wrestling biko.

Please, please and please, can Gernot Rhor drop Ogenyi Onazi?
Balogun is just too soft, why on earth can't he play like he did during Cameroon match?
Ighalo will just be clapping and giving thumbs up, save for the goal created, I don't think I really like him.
Mikel Obi was asleep in the first half but woke up in the second half
Etebo is very good
John Ogu is slow but intelligent
Joel Obi should be dropped
Bryan Idowu has locked up the left fullback position
Tyrone Ebuehi should be the owner of the right back
Alex Iwobi is my man of the match
Victor Moses is over-hyped

I LOVE THE WAY THE NIGERIAN FANS BOOED THAT BASTARD DELE ALLI

A striker will not perform when your midfielders are full of onazi and joel obi ..... strikers depend on midfielders to shine .Check Ighalo record at Watford ... He went to China to make money
Thanks for the schooling bro. ....how quick everyone forgot Iwobi scored from the rebound of Ighalo,s superb strike from again a super iwobi pass.

He should have done his due diligence before submitting a list to FIFA in the first place.

Nwakili is better than most of our midfielders in the list. He is more mobile, better passing range, and an eye for goal.

That was terrible from Rohr

I bet he's regretting that decision now. I personally don't see him as an excellent judge of talent anyway. I mean to think the guy, prior to today's game, rated Mikel Agu above John Ogu. His technical team must do better.

wouldn't it be nice if u were part of the coaching crew, would have sound this out to baba rohr, so he can do the needful. let the boys use this tournament to learn and start planning for the next one, even this young England team is going to the tournament to learn ni.

I was at the game. Great atmosphere indeed.

As was the case with the previous games including Argentina we start to slow and concede to much space. Midfielders are not in the game and Oyinbo wall does not work.

Joe Obi and Onazi do not play well together and I'd say the J Obi should not be going to the WC.

1st half was a poor display in tactics and positioning of players in midfield was not good. We made England look like Spain or Brazile if you can believe that.

2nd half substitutions was amazingly effective. The goal scored was class. England now looked like the England we know and that's "not very good"

Nigeria have worked to do and what I saw its a 50 50 for me.

Croatia will not be a problem if Nigeria plays consistently 90 minuets. The team that will give Nigeria problems will be Iceland not Argentina.

From what I saw if rohr does not assert a first 11 we will not make it out of the group at all

Pluses

Goal keeper was brilliant

Iwobi was brilliant

And ekong was Sound
injurybaba:
better display in the Second half

Fact I got from the Game

Please can we just drop onazi and Joel already

just look how calm etebo was in that second half

It's looks like our coach is technically okay I mean his new formation matched England in the second half

We need another striker to help Ighalo because Iheanacho and musa re not strikers

Ebuehi is a natural right back

And finally is only naija can play with confidence we really have like 5 or 6 quality players that can make a difference in that team

A footballer is suppose to win a match. Stop this your mediocre.

Or is it because they played England?
Nonsense.

Let them go and practice, with what I had seen 3min ago, our players aren't fit for this world cup

Buhari should be the keeper.
Buhari has achieved two points:

Re-Cement most politically unstable Nigeria at the hearts of English people.
See how UK TV Cameras beamed the faces of some Nigerian fans immersed in singing Nigeria's national anthem, but hardly showed the faces of English fans singing England anthem.

2) It's fact that Nigeria team cannot beat English team in Wembley Stadium, so it was like bringing Nigerian team to be demoralized by certain defeat a few days to the beginning of World Cup,

All to achieve Buharis re-election.

I have always loved the way Ogu plays, he is just not too lucky with good clubs.

I also hope that Echiejile is dropped oooo
ogu is a complete DM - he has the flair of Marcos sena if given a full role.

Remember the pass he gave mikel obi at fifa confederations cup ? He got my respect from that moment.

dont mind people here with negativity spirit . when we were grouped with cameroon ,ALGERIA AND ZAMBIA many guys said we cant qualify that we do not have a team but when we qualify they praised Ighalo and Moses today they are singing a new song ... from a tender age i watch 1986 ,1990,1994,1998.2002,2006,2010,2014 world cups ... Surely we have a good team but defending set peices is a major problem of African teams in global tournaments. I think the aim of the friendly was achieved that is compare joel vs Ogu . Idowu vs aina and elderson . Idowu awesome ... Ogu okay , joel and onazi are waste of space ... Without mincing words ...Ajagun should have make this team but the coach has better plans

Nope but suggest someone who can play his role better? mikel lost balls today, there were times he just stood instead of chasing after ball; but he still did what he could do I.e Coordinate the play; the only player with composure and understanding of the game like him is nwakali and he is somewhere in Nigeria using cold orijin to step suya down
