I think it's hi-time Rohr sits V. Moses down and let him understand the Mission of the team in Russia. Moses needs to see and put the team first ahead of any personal glory. If Moses can assure him(ROHR) and the team to be discipline in any role given to him, I don't see a reason why he can't be played as a WB most especially a LWB(though have been against this all this while). Going forward, we need to have all hands on deck. We can then Line-up this way. Still 3-5-2 UZOHO EKONG(RCB)-BALOGUN(CB)-OMUERO(LCB) EBUEHI(RWB)-NDIDI(DMF)-IWOBI(AMF)-MIKEL(CMF)-MOSES(LWB) IHEANACHO(CF)-IGHALO(CF). With this kind of set up, we should be able to stand our own ground against anyside. IDOWU can always deputise for both WBs. zuchyblink: And so what ?even Raheem sterling got 2 England goals in 40 caps. Eric dier a defensive midfielder got more goals than sterling with lesser caps How many clear chance have you watch ighalo missed? He rarely get chances, his ball control are top notch,if not for ighalo brilliance by controlling that ball with the chest and shoot to the bar how will iwobi score ? How many goal has Kanu even score for Nigeria ? 7 Likes |

Why is rohr fielding horrible players. So it means that of all the players playing for Nigeria both at home and abroad, this is the best rohr can come up with. 1 Goal drought ighalo 2 Brainless Musa 3 Pregnant Onazi 4 Clueless Joel 5 Retired Elderson 6 Weak Balogun With this mediocre team i don't expect them qualifying the group stage. 11 Likes 1 Share |

Bolowolowo:I think we should not read so much into these friendlies most especially when it's between a WORLDCUP BOUND TEAMS AND THOSE THAT DIDN'T QUALIFIED. The unqualified ones are fighting for FIFA rankings and have nothing to loose if their players pick up injuries. So it's not on a level ground. 1 Like |

onazi have to leave the Turkish league this summer. the guy have regressed so damn much. i re watched the match last night on you-tube and i observed he was the most useless player on the pitch during the first half of the encounter. the guy was so poor and confused. his current body structure doesn't tell well of his fitness. the guy is fat and looks like a Sunday league footballer. joel obi didn't fair better but he was strong with his tackles and runs.his problem so far is that he is too eager to impress and that brought a lot of pressure on him. ebuehi is the undisputed starter in the right back position, his introduction brought spark to the right side of the pitch and the way he tracked back was lovely to behold. benfica got their selves a very good right back in ebuehi. idowu was assured at left back but seem not too comfortable when in possession, but notwithstanding i will pick him ahead of elderson. if rohr want to make a statement in the world cup he should deploy iwobi as the team number 10. the kid was magical yesterday and he the result was in the teams favor he would have been the undisputed man of the match. in the teams next friendly against czech, rohr should experiment the trio of iwobi, mikel and ndidi in the midfield and see if it works. i think the trio will blend together with better understanding. mikel and ndidi should be deployed behind iwobi where as mikel will be the central midfielder who can move forward when there is need and ndidi as the anchor man. all the same the team did their best and the english team i saw yesterday is no where near world class. in a competitive match we can win them comfortably andrew444: 1 Like |

Icon4s:If I was Pinnick, Rohr will be answering a querry this morning on why he started Moses after one light work out with the team, when you have other players who have trained with the team for over 2 weeks. Moses could have picked up an injury for this rush job. 1 Like |

Shehu mustn't play against persic, because the first 20min he would be caution Secondly, I feel pity for Ola Aina but he still got a place in SE, Elderson should just enjoy his time; i don't even see him starting ahead of idowu Thirdly, Joel Obi is an asset same with Etebo. As for onazi i don't want both him and joel obi to start anymore 2 gra gra no fit they start for middle alot of blunder would be committed. Rohr next match i want to see Joel obi and OGu play together!! I rest my case 2 Likes |

andrew444:I'm just stating a fact. Some players adapt better to some formations than others. Ebuehi is similar to Marco Alonso. These guys are made for the wing back role in a 3-5-2 formation more than a flat back 4. And for the record, I have always wanted Shehu to be tried in midfield where I think he will be better than Onazi and Joel. 2 Likes |

Kog45: Due to how disappointing Agu was when he was giving the little chances had had before his slightly above average showing against Congo, I was scared to say the bolded even though its true. But all the same, I'm annoyed with Rohr for failing to show us Agbo. Dude has done better for Granada and Liege in the past two seaons than Onazi for Tranbz, he probably could have done better than the dou of Onazi and Joel for the Eagles 6 Likes |

Martz101: Unlike some people, football is serious to me and the last thing I do is to analyze football sentimentally. It will not benefit the team in any way. That is why I frown upon coaches making sentimental selection. When I said Kelechi Nwakali should camp with the Senior team and understudy Mikel, some people felt I said it for sentimental reasons. Against Atletico Madrid, many could see the massive potential the boy has. I pointed out Guardiola was a fantastic coach and some said it was because of sentimental reasons. Today, many agree he is good. I do not call because of sentimental reasons but after careful study. Hating or not wanting Nacho because you find my stance on his inclusion annoying makes you the sentimental one. Not me. I was one mocked on threads of Nairaland for supporting Mikel's inclusion in the National team. Many thought it was sentimental. Today many agree it is true. If it comes to defend another striker and I feel he is wrongly spoken about, I will. 5 Likes |

AIG07: I think we would gain more from V. Moses if he plays more offensively than defensively. Idowu was okay in the game against England and I feel we can cope with him in that role with the right compact midfield set-up. I think our problem yesterday had to do with the midfield. We played better and kept the ball in a nice fashion with a more organized set-up. With Ndidi back in the side and I hope Ogu, we would not need Moses defensively but firing on all cylinders. I still feel below is our best set-up. 6 Likes
