Na goal wey uzoho don concede you dey calculate abi ?

Shebi caballero who is a world class keeper concede 6 for Argentina against Spain,if na naija keeper una go don kill am,continue to dey find wetin no lost for uzoho body.

Even Manuel Manuel neuer dem use 2 goals welcome am yesterday against Austria,I just hope you are not against the young boy.
Pls this is between kog45 and chriskel, nothing serious if you read the basis of our discussion and it's all about exchanging banter.on the young man performance.

Chriskel was the first person to talk about Uzoho here and i told him eagles was not for division three keeper.

The guy played against Girona in LA liga and after watching Uzoho for the firstl time.I called out Chriskel that Uzoho is promising.

That's how we started on Uzoho so not today or England match analysis.

Seriously speaking, I don't like this rohr, he is too conservative to change. That's why he was sacked by Bordeaux and they win the ligue 1 after he left. Most people have been hailing him because of our results have improved since his arrival. But that was totally due to the rebuilding process and multivation of the players. But I'm sorry to say, I've not seen any tactical genius from rohr. How can someone use a 4-3-3 formation against england without a good dmf? He should have studied the English team and realized that they hardly concede goals from the wings in their past few matches . Now, he drops ola Aina without really giving him a chance, Brian idowu has tried but hasn't really been top notch like ebuehi, let's say, idowu gets injured during the WC, we'd be doomed with echiejile. He knows echiejile isn't good but doesn't want to drop him because he's a senior experienced player and was more involved in the qualifier but the dude doesn't have anything to offer. Now hes taking joel and onazi. After this wc, i think onazi should be removed as the vice captain and it should be given to ekong .I just pray Wilfred Is back on time and maybe we practice the 3-5-2 formation against Czech republic. I'd love to see victor moses as our left wing back instead of idowu cos I don't know where he'd fit in the formation but Its just that, if you put him as left wing back he'll start forming big boy and feeling reluctant to play and run the way he plays for Chelsea. But anyway, rohr knows best!
Guys, just lower your expectations, at least it is the only way not to get disappointed. Besides, these set of players we are criticizing may turn out to be our best players at the mundial, Babatunde comes to mind in 2014 worldcup. I could remember odewengie who happened to be our best player before 2010 worldcup turning out to flop at the mundial, while the likes of kalu uche became our important player. The coach believes in these guys I'm sure we will get to see better performance from them in subsequent matches. Let's not forget this coach saw this team through the qualification against the then best teams in afria;Algeria and Cameroon. Besides some of these players we are calling for their inclusion may turn out to be disappointment, I could remember how so many people called for the inclusion of Joseph akpala and Anthony Ujah for the 2013 fifa confederation's cup, we all saw their abysmal performance.
My only disappointment now is Aina not making the team, I would have loved Echeijelle to be dropped. Remember we do not have arrays of talents like Spain or Belgium or France, we just have to use what we have.

rohr greatest achievement with this team is having faith with uzoho. he may not be top notch now but this kid will serve the team for years to come. he is still very young and in this stage of his career mistakes are bound to occur but it will give him the necessary confidence and morale to grow in the future. atlesast we can for once forget enyeama!

i disagree with your first point. playing such high calibre friendly in a magnificent stadium as wembley will boast the morale of the less exposed players in the team.
i will not say it boosts their morale per say but it gives those players a chance to know what it is like playing front of a large(sometimes hostile crowd) that is obtainable in a competition like world cup

This is too hard for them to understand. Bunch of ingrates. Aina's treatment was nothing but sheer wickedness and deceit.

We all know the truth but trynna eschew it, one of the baits used to lure Aina was the worldcup, now he wasn't given a better judgement. How do you want the poor boy to feel about the system now?

God!! Southgate will have a field day

Yes Aina is supposed to be at the World Cup and elderson deserved to be dropped.

What can he feel about the system ? This is football okay and we are talking about a below average player here or average,if he didn't choose Nigeria will he be at the England squad ?

He should fight for another day abi Na only World Cup we go use dey lure players ?

Winfred zaha would have make England World Cup squad because his form was hot and Gareth southgate persuade him but he don't trust the English people,he went ahead and play for Ivory Coast at the afcon and they even failed to qualify for the World Cup and I didn't hear him rant oo,abeg make Aina fight for another day

This Rohr reminds me of wenger. Too conservative and annoyingly too loyal to obviously mediocre players. That's how we (Arsenal fans) got stuck with Walcott for a decade

Uzoho is doing well for a young man but I am not convinced we put the best choice in goal or if he is ready for us to get excited. I believe he is the best among the pack we invited but we need thorough unbiased goalkeeper screening after the World Cup and select the best. If not we are deceiving ourselves.

Also the coaching crew needs to keep the young keeper on his toes to get him close to ready for the World Cup.

By the way, what the hell was up with our players in allowing English players restrict the movement of Uzoho during corner-kicks. That should never happen again. A player of ours should be close to the Goalkeeper during corner-kicks to prevent an opposing player from stopping the Goalkeeper from moving.

hat was at caused the first goal and it was so amateurish from our players.
Forget all this prsises(yes he has done well) but Uzoho is there cos we don't have an option.

how many chances did we create after we switched formation? Apart from the goal, which was kinda lucky anyways, we hardly created any chance whatsoever. The English boys were two up, they took their feet off the gas and we couldn't even muster one good final chance, in fact they probably should have even made it 3-1. So all the talk about the 3-5-2 doing this or that to the English team is hogwash for me
Continue your analysis Bro but that goal no be by luck. Was Harry Kane's goal luck? Remember Uzoho had a touch on it. In short what made our goal luck? So if a team creates no chance but scores one goal, that goal becomes luck.

I really feel bad for Aina and I agree with sir Chriskels 100% that Aina was treated unfairly.. Rohr could have moved Shehu back to the midfield(he once tried Ndidi and Omeruo at RB self) after the WCQ so Aina would join Ebuehi at RB. Aina probably did himself when he stated in an interview sometimes ago that he enjoyed playing at LB... Now he's been dropped for a washed up Echijele...
He is still young sha.. but I have doubt if the right back role could still b his even after Echijele leaves... there's a certain Ikuowem Udoh waiting.....

I actually think that this is a very good formation, bro. If (and that's a big IF) Rohr can get VicMo to play with the same discipline he plays at Chelsea; this would definitely be the most effective formation we can try starting with our last friendly match. I mean, in Ebuehi, we already have a solid wingback ... the only thing missing is the LWB.

But the other big question is, can VicMo play LWB?

O pari

AIG07:
I think it's hi-time Rohr sits V. Moses down and let him understand the Mission of the team in Russia. Moses needs to see and put the team first ahead of any personal glory.

If Moses can assure him(ROHR) and the team to be discipline in any role given to him, I don't see a reason why he can't be played as a WB most especially a LWB(though have been against this all this while). Going forward, we need to have all hands on deck.

We can then Line-up this way. Still 3-5-2

UZOHO

EKONG(RCB)-BALOGUN(CB)-OMUERO(LCB)

EBUEHI(RWB)-NDIDI(DMF)-IWOBI(AMF)-MIKEL(CMF)-MOSES(LWB)

IHEANACHO(CF)-IGHALO(CF).

With this kind of set up, we should be able to stand our own ground against anyside. IDOWU can always deputise for both WBs.

Rohr should bear it in mind that he has placed himself in a tight position with Nigeria fans for choosing to keep an overrated Joel Obi after his poor showing in all 4 games he has played (Onazi own is understandable cus he is captain), and a washed up Echijele over Ola Aina...

Mr Forgiveness you have been proven right ooo... I knew Rohr would stick with Onazi and had a bias for Joel but all sentiments aside Onazi and Joel had no reason to be invited in the first place let alone go to the world cup.

The funny thing is Rohr will still start Onazi (that causes Ndidi to defer the control of the DM to him) against Croatia.
Lol.

Well it is done now, in TheGoodJoe's voice the next thing is serious drills and drilling for the boys.

PS Let us just know Vic Moses will never change. We just have to live with his plays.

Moses will ruin our world cup chances if we are not careful with the way we keep indulging him. If the guy is not ready to play with the team, he should sit on the bench. Keshi did it in 2014 until babatunde got injured. We all sang Joel obi praises all this while until alarm blow yesterday night. We should thank God it was a friendly. Moses is another grey area we must be cautious about. Me I have said my own o cos na so okocha dribble so tey denmark whip us 4-1, a disaster never to be forgotten. With a player like Joel Obi making the world cup squad, it's crystal clear that Rohr is not serious about the world cup. I see Nigeria losing all three matches and coming disgraced as usual
