I must commend the initiator of this thread.I also want to commend my brothers ugosample and onatisi for their good contributions to this thread.I respect these two guys so much. I dont overlook their comment anytime I see them on nairaland.I am thinking of relocating to a very good African country with my family and start up a business after my stay in Korea.Honestly, this thread has given me enough information to work with.Thank you guys.
you are welcome baba mi, we are all in the hustle together , all we want is just a better place with better opportunities for our children ,a place where they can have equal chance and opportunity to fight for the best and not a place where the best chances and opportunities have already been allocated to the children of the elites and politicians .
May God help us all

You're a fool

What she is saying is the truth

Nigeria has lost its moral compass

Everyone wants to hit it big by all means, and the people in that country encourage them to go into crime
Look at the comments of Nigerians in the page of Yahoo boys, that would tell you how rotten Nigerian youths have become

In the midst of these, why won't put people go across the world committing crimes and dosgracing themselves all in the bid to impress and be "big boy"

Is Nigeria the only country that people are "suffering"?

Why then are the Nigerians the most desperate?

Because Nigerians, well most of them have lost all sense of morality and good conscience.

Another person agrees that Ghanaians can't bake. It's not just bread, chinchin, spring rolls and a lot of other pastries. Ghanaians can't make shi.t. I schooled there and I hated every experience of it. Their women are also very boring can't talk or hold any conversations. I am in Nigeria and even though it's a really shitty country I would pick It up over Ghana again and again.

I hear you

Taking a sample size of Nigerians here on this forum supporting and hailing Yahoo boys (especially miscreants from Edo and Delta states) And comparing it with the responses from other forums elsewhere, you will see that an average Nigerian is a potential "fantastically corrupt" entity

It all depends on who you move with and where you stay in Ghana.
Secondly Ghana bread are very good ,thirdly ,there is no where in Ghana where a loaf of bread is sold for 20ghc that is a big lie ,butter bread and sugar bread cost 6ghc and they will even cut it for you according to ur pocket. The most you will get a loaf of bread for is 8ghc ,maybe the guy should tell us where he bought his own for 20ghc. Snacks don't sell much in Ghana. About communication,it depends on the Calibre of people you interact and mingle with

My brother, you look too far indeed. The standard of living in Nigeria makes us think all African countries are like that. I just got back from Rwanda. I was in Ethiopia, Ghana and Benin earlier. The story is the same as described by a commenter. Security is top notch in all these places and they have constant light (well, almost). I don't know how this country called Nigeria became a jungle. Now I see what Kanu means. He even downplayed it by calling it a zoo. Lol. This is not about analysing the situation. I also think as a black man, you are easily welcomed here in Africa. I almost opened a company in Rwanda with my passport oh. I was just curious. The fellows at RDB told me how but also said it was not even necessary to start something. I will still do it. They generally like to meet Nigerians and show them the ropes.

I will be visiting others soon. I have had an Africa travel bug for sometime now. America no even dey my mind. I am yet to renew my visa. I believe if we want to fix Nigeria, we need to see how our contemporaries are doing it and not look at the West. Oyinbo full Ethiopia and Rwanda. They love it there oh.

For some pics and videos on my journey, you can check it out on Instagram @trekafrik. If you feel like, please follow me. That would be encouraging. If you want some tips too, feel free to ask. I am happy to share from the small wey I know.
Pls bro, tell us more about Rwanda and the opportunities and how to go about opening/running a business there, thanks.

the key thing is about skills , dont leave nigeria without having good skills . try to erase the thought of business or trading when leaving to another african country, believe me sincerely the places you are going those who are there are not mumus . the only thing that will stand you out are the skills you posses , that is what will attract them to you and make them accept you quickly. it will also give you a steady source of income till you have studied the environment enough to establish a business.
please secondly , make sure you travel with enough funds , dont hit the road with just $300 in your pocket and think that all will be rosy , make sure you have at least $2000-$5000 dollars with you apart from your fares. this funds will enable you to settle down quicker , and get many things done faster than if you have to start struggling to survive an save .
Bro,

Apart from tiling, plumbing, barbing, which other worthy skill that you think someone should learn in order to be useful in most of these countries?

I need you to list some of the hot cake skills that will make one to stand out.

Building construction skills is hot cake and it will get you a job quickily and easily anywhere in the world . The skills can be acquired in less than 3 months and you don't even need to be too technical. There is no country in this world where construction isn't taking place. It will quickily afford the opportunity of meeting ppl ,getting some funds and at least having a legal job. And since you know that you won't stay long on the job ,you will be on the lookout to setting up ur own business. From Mexico to USA,from Australia to Sudan , construction skills easily get ppl settled down.
Tailoring too is very good but considering the time needed in learning it ,age may not be on many ppls side

Someone has initially said something similar. Anything construction (Road, house etc) skills.

I will look towards that end. I will try and learn some over YouTubes and make enquiries if I can have a hands on experience with people in such line of work through free volunteering of myself.

In Nigeria ,things are done manually ,outside machines does most of the job so all you just need is the basic knowledge and experience, experience that won't make you look odd. Once you have that no problem

oh ok , but still , you cant spend 20ghc within Accra on transportation . except maybe the taxi cheated you . in accra if you take a bus ride of 2-3ghc then that place must be far ,and most bus fares are between 1-5ghc, even from tema station in accra to kasoa , you cant spend up to 20ghc on bus fare . things are expensive in accra no doubt but not exorbitant or exploitative .

Gambia is not bad at all but then sponsoring people for master abroad is not happening here. Am currently in Gambia teaching in the highest paid international school, the take home is not too good , but I make so much I mean so much money from private classes. Anyone that is interested can just let me know.

Hello... Is there any way we can talk privately... I really need you to put me through.
