Mr Forgiveness you have been proven right ooo... I knew Rohr would stick with Onazi and had a bias for Joel but all sentiments aside Onazi and Joel had no reason to be invited in the first place let alone go to the world cup.

The funny thing is Rohr will still start Onazi (that causes Ndidi to defer the control of the DM to him) against Croatia.
Lol.

Well it is done now, in TheGoodJoe's voice the next thing is serious drills and drilling for the boys.

PS Let us just know Vic Moses will never change. We just have to live with his plays.

Go Super Eagles go Super Eagles. Make us proud.

I don't think Onazi and Joel are bad players. Yesterday, I will single out Mikel for their poor performance. Even Rohr should know that.

Onazi will start matches for now.

Victor Moses rely too much on his individual skills. He needs to play with the team.

I think it's hi-time Rohr sits V. Moses down and let him understand the Mission of the team in Russia. Moses needs to see and put the team first ahead of any personal glory.

If Moses can assure him(ROHR) and the team to be discipline in any role given to him, I don't see a reason why he can't be played as a WB most especially a LWB(though have been against this all this while). Going forward, we need to have all hands on deck.

We can then Line-up this way. Still 3-5-2

UZOHO

EKONG(RCB)-BALOGUN(CB)-OMUERO(LCB)

EBUEHI(RWB)-NDIDI(DMF)-IWOBI(AMF)-MIKEL(CMF)-MOSES(LWB)

IHEANACHO(CF)-IGHALO(CF).

With this kind of set up, we should be able to stand our own ground against anyside. IDOWU can always deputise for both WBs.

Cc: TheGoodJoe, Kog45, Zuchyblinks, Mickael02, Joebie, Mujtahida, ChrisKels, Tbaba1234, Icon79, Mikron etc...
Moses was a shadow of himself ystdy. Dude played below par. Little wonder the team struggled up front ystdy against the 3 lions. With a more mobile and attacking Moses, and a midfield of steel in mikel, ndidi, etebo and john ogu, we should be good to go.

Hahahaha hahahaha. During the Finland u 17 in 2003 na so one man begin criticise the whole team. Then Mikel was on sports newspapers as the new kid on the bloc. The man was criticizing the whole team and said 'even that Mikel wey dem dey make noise about no play anything na only that number 10 dey play. Alas my brother, Mikel was the number 10.

Substitute Ebuehi for Tyronne. I don hear something today. Very funny
that bolded part tho grin. Inside his mind, he's an analyst

We have said it here before that we would need a DM that would easily join the defense line. And that was what Ogu did today.

For us to progress from that group we will really need to compact our midfield and defense.

Ogu did nothing of the sort he was the left sided CB in a 3-5-2 formation. And his lack of pace made his side the weak link.

See how Welbeck left him for dead innit for Ekong who came to clean up.

I don't think u love Azubuike Okechukwu more than I do but calling for his inclusion after yesterday's match is completely out of place.

Onazi and Joel are not bad players, although Onazi was terrible yesterday. Every team must have a blend, the lesson here is both Onazi and Joel are not compatible playing together.

Sitting in Anfield watching Brazil give Croatia a football lesson. Up close and personal.

From what I can see WE HAVE NOTHING TO FEAR from Croatia they have no pace.

Our weapon of destruction will be PACE.

Getting in behind them will not be problematic.

We just have to playing game with focus pace skill and good finishing

What football lesson are you talking about exactly? Are we watching the same game?

Brazil is dominating play as expected but Croatia is holding their own with their organization and discipline. That's what we lacked in the first half of the game yesterday.

coordinating our attacks or counter attacks is the issue.. we have the pace to break them

They are not bad players. They have a contract with a professional club, so they can play at least. So do hundreds of other Nigerian players, but the truth is for the composition of our midfield and defence, Onazi's style of running around like a headless chicken and floating like a bee puts every other midfield player in an indecision place. That was good when he was younger and could recover quickly (The reason we loved him) but now we have an Ndidi and a co-ordinated defense, where positioning and space close out is their foundation (Oyinbo drilling since small pikin) not running around and 7 people defending in the box like we have been used to.
Onazi's runs confuses the players. He is an elder, the younger guys can't shout at him when he bleeps up, but you can see that when Onazi is out, that midfield and defence runs smoother. In other words Onazi did not improve his skills and has lost his recovery speed.

Joel... I have no freaking clue this guys advantage playing for us. Some here said he is the Mikel replacement all I see is an average player that is finding it hard to gel with the players.

Except Rohr wants to use them as practice teams for the main starter team, me I no see their usefulness.

Can you honestly say you can predict a scenario other than injury where the Onazi we have seen for the last year and a half is better than any of the above with this new Super Eagles ?

All Joel Obi has going for him is a decent career in Italy. So far it hasn’t translated to anything for us.

Iwobi started from the right but moved centrally when we switched to 3-5-2. Although don't know the exact role ad I kept seeing both him and Mikel in the center
