lol less than 100 students are expelled from unilag yearly. the list is usually pasted all around the classrooms and various departments for the whole world to see.

the school matriculated 8k and graduated 5k.

3/8*100% is 37%. if you passed through the four walls of a school you won't speculate that at least 37% of students will drop out during a four year course grin

oga I'll ignore your mentions now. you are unbelievably ignorant. if I don't know what I'm saying I won't be giving you links. I would have left the thread jejely.

feel free to display your ignorance on the thread. ignorance is not a crime. have a nice time bro
As expect, always making assumptions. Keep arguing against unilag vc.

@the first bold part, use the same goole you have been using to spam the thread to google "unilag fee increase july 2017".
@second bold part, how did I conclude? The Unilag VC did and I quoted him.
so because school fees increased you think the students are paying up to the cost? if I indulge you with a long post again and you can't counter it you will claim I'm spamming the forum. pls let it die here cheesy

you don win

bye grin

no need begging. I didn't beg the unilag vc to churn out those figures so don't beg me.

the VC probably quoted that figure for undergraduate convocation and you assumed it's the total number number of students including MSc PhD

btw how many old hostels and classrooms does CU have to maintain with lesser student population?

in unilag alone there is
mariere hostel, Amina, Jaja, scholars hostel, newest hall, moremi, el kanemi, kofo, sodeinde, etc in akoka and OPH, block 1-4 and nursing students hostel in college of medicine.

start by telling me the number of hostels CU has and tell me cost of maintenance will be the same.

then do the same for classrooms.
cos classrooms also get renovated from time to time.

now go ahead and do the same for staff quarters (note that new blocks were built for staffs beside health center with TETFUND). there is High rise block A,B,C and several duplexes and hundreds of flats for staffs both within school and outside school (yes unilag operates off campus staff quarters for its staffs under agreement with landlords of big buildings). I stayed in one of such off-campus staff quarters around ekore bus stop in Oworonshoki for years. the compound had 16 flats and it belonged to the popular Woman that owns majork oil and milk and magnet savings and loans. unilag took control of the building for over ten years to house it's staffs since there was shortage of buildings for staffs within the compound.

where do you think money for maintenance of all these facilities come from?
grin from that big 2b grin
CU has 10 undergrad hostels(peter, Daniel, Esther, Deborah, john, Joseph, Lydia, dorcas etc.) on campus which houses all students on campus. Each carries about 600 students. While the two PG halls carries 540 students. So I don't think Unilag has more hostels than cu.

and I me ruined in my post that I don't know the number of hostels CU has but I'm sure unilag has close to 20.

I mentioned close to that in my posts up there.

btw I still stand by my figure. unilag caters for 57,000 students and cu caters for 15k. even though not all unilag students are in the hostel.

pls leave that guy out of our discussion. he won't argue logically. he's only good with insults

What about other expenses like power, lab reuseables, research grants ?
That guy is tryimg to prove that average of 300k for each student is small. When CU was pay N170k and N250k i know what it was like.
