Is it safe to buy First Bank now, since the stock has recovered and may go higher so i can atleast make little profit. My fingers have been burnt, over 100k lost and it seems like more to follow.

Why are you so confident giving incorrect data out? How many Months of May in the last 20 yrs actually ended negative? Oga the data is free and it's online. You don't even have to go to NSE office to confirm stuff like this.

This whole "I'm prophetic" stuff is getting ludicrous. Go and look at how other Frontier markets charts are doing and see how not so special we actually are.

Full disclosure: I didn't buy anything in May.

Hello, please I need someone to help me review this on FBNH Stock Position. I don't know what it means.

An open balance reads "902".
Current balance reads "902"
Pledge reads "0"
Net pending reads "0"
Available balance reads "902"

Nothing like naira. I'm a novice.
Can someone please help me evaluate how much the money is?
Thanks.

On the part in bold, you are spot on! Segun is too loyal to the shareholders which underpins the success of the bank. He is someone that even reject loan applications from his close friends and family. For segun, it's mind set is we are building a corporation that come 50years from now is still standing strong.

The negative reaction by investors is good for someone like me that has waited on the sideline for long praying that the price drops to the value zone for mopping... grin

To commemorate the end of RAMADAN FAST we should watch out for a "MAGICAL BULL" starting from middle of this month.

I have been counting my losses since February applying average down approach. 2 weeks ago, i decided to be on watching mode, although, promised myself not to sell at loss come what may. Reading a couple of analysis from many ogas this weekend, i begin to be tempted to average down again on Zenith only. Is it a good direction? Useful advice is needed from everybody before giving instruction to my broker.

U need to have a stop loss limit in trading
Sincerely no one can do that for you
Still never a fan of average down approach
Safety of capital first, profit will flow in at the appropriate time
what if Zenith get to N19.00
Why use a broker to execute ur trade when u can do it 4 yourself

Things are happening at lightening speed this year.

If the index loses on Monday (tomorrow), the losing streak this year will tie with what we witnessed around October/November 2014 (highest since 2010).

A reversal is likely soon.

Not a recommendation o.

I think the bearish trend might continue for a while as foreign investors are shifting to US Treasury Bills as the yield is getting better. IMHO,I might be wrong and some stocks might experience a reversal.

Most of those rules don't hold in Nigeria especially 3, 6, 9 and 10. There is an abundance of historical incidents that invalidate them for NSE.
