MUGABE COMES FOR THE SUPER EAGLES JERSEY AFTER OUR 2-1 LOSS TO ENGLAND! Let me start by saying that the transmission from the Super Eagles defence to midfield was poor. All I saw was omission...sorry I mean confusion and transmission. Nigerians can still be proud of the Super Eagles jersey even if they under perform in Russia. I used to be proud of my handwriting when I came last in my secondary school days. I don't know if it is the beautiful jersey. But I expected a lot from this Super Eagles team. After all, to whom jersey is given, much more is expected. The way the Super Eagles played in the first half and the way the jersey looked good on them is a direct prove that all that glitters is not gold. After watching the Super Eagles in the first half. My wife decided to soak her Nike Jersey in hypo to change it to the white colour of the England jersey. Women are bad. If I was the coach of the Super Eagles, I would have played Wiskid instead of Onazi. WizKid even looked better in the Nike Super jersey than Onazi. If I were the Nigerian president, I would order Nike to reduce the price of the jersey to 5,000. The 41000 naira price is weighing the Super Eagles down. The Nigerian Team that played in the first half was not ready. Through out the first half, they were busy modelling the Jersey for Nike. Nigerians should stop complaining and look at the bright side. The more England or any team score against the Super Eagles, the lower the price of the jersey becomes. Onazi is the undisputed Bakayoko of Nigeria. Nobody will even attempt to drag it with him. na joke o 4 Likes |

@ Tbaba1234, Joebie, Thesupernerd Is there any FIFA rule regarding the type of font to be used for jersey numbering and naming at the world cup like its done at club level(teams use different font in naming their kits in d EPL, UCL and FA cup) ? ..I don't really like the one we used yesterday |

I don’t think so. I think fonts are chosen to match the theme of the kit design Danielnino00: |

optimist25:for the sake of civility, I'd hold back from calling Colin udoh a fool. How could he be so clueless to know that fans' displeasurable reaction over a player's lackluster performance isn't only peculiar to Nigeria. Go check other nations how underperforming players are grossly given sticks. making excuses for a supposed professional midfielder who could not string good passes together and another who's always jittery in front of onlooking crowd perfectly suits the description of a fickle fan. English fans for instance do not give a flying fvck about your past performance. You're expected to be shunning out good performances because as a fan, you pay to be entertained not to be bored to death. I'd send Onazi and Joel back to Nigeria through canoe if I were the coach. Those guys should just retire from football. 5 Likes |

Icon4s:Yes Aina was not convincing enough but Echiejile made the team on preference not performance. Sir how is your stake on Shehu now, remember how i rate Shehu but am more convinced that Ebuehi is better. Also on Joel performance so far, with four solid friendlies the guy was damn too poor, making the team tells me sentiment Onazi Ogenyi is out of shape. After England match i need to reevaluate my stance on him,not good enough for this WC,hope to see Ndidi back in action. 8 Likes |

After some bits of good research i have come to conclude that the best option we have going foward in a 3-5-2 formation is pairing Simi and Musa. Moses should never be played as a foward if we truly want to maximize what we have in him. Ogu is a better as a midfielder, but looking at what happens to our defense when under preasure, his composure, grit, positioning and an uncanny ability to read games will stabilize the defense and bring about a smooth transition from defense to midfield without us having to lose ball possession. Ogu should be part of our 3 man defense, but i prefer him as a midfielder. 1 Like |

Kog45: Aina was to displace Echiejile and he didn't, Echiejile already lost his spot as the starter, Aina could not convince Rohr...remember after Aina debut he played more games that Echiejile and nothing come out. 3 Likes |

LieDetector:Oh you think Colin Udoh knows the game better than guys here?NO o. I'm Onazi fan but truth be told he is losing it faster and Onazi himself was ashamed of himself but here Colin want Nigeria to think otherwise. It is better to have promising young players in the team than abysmal old players. Pls check out Onazi,Joel,Echiejile, Musa and Akpeyi and let evaluate their performances in eagles under Rohr. |

Meliforme: ogu can't start ahead of Omerou in 3 man defence....Ogu is a midfielder, him playing there that day was tactical, we have very good defenders |

Joebie: Finally someone else has seen it. not to mention that this was an English team that was already two goals up, a poor English team none the less. If we play that same second half again against Croatia we will have nothing to show for it. Everybody is hailing our second half performance as if it was a very good performance but then it wasn't, it was just better than the shitshow we produced in the first half. |

Onazi is obviously refusing to shoulder the major responsibility for his shambolic outing so he is subtly resorting to the silly blame game. Truth is he was our worst player on the day and all his runnings were bloody meaningless. He should own up to his shortcomings and shut the f**k up. Can he do what Mikel does for the team? Can he even deliver like an Ndidi? Even an Etebo or Ogu trumps him now. Onazi should shut it and own up to his failings so that he can get better and show us he is still relevant to the Eagles. Nonsense. asha80: 4 Likes |

asha80:the only crises in that camp is Onazi's fat belly, and nigga should be running up and down ANY field to lose all that weight, instead of taking down names of who dey run and who dey waka He has not earned the right to point fingers, maybe when he stops looking like a 45-year old man going through midlife crisis, he will have a case |
