Bennyandrews: I pray you would listen to the advice given to you here. Next time she asks you to go, tell her you had a terrible dream afterwards and that your body system has not been the same ever since. Just think of whatever you can tell her to discourage her from pushing you against your will. You can tell your hubby who might be in the best position to stop his mum from asking you to go there. Just don't understand some MIL that won't accept the new way of life. It's really sad cos next thing she might want to start putting up an altitude with you. Please apply wisdom and always pray for you, your hubby and of course your unborn child. You will be fine. You should be team December by the way. We welcome you to this awesome thread. 5 Likes |

BS!! BS!!! BS!!! Beautiful Mamas in the house I rep team June...... Thank God for a safe delivery...... not a good story teller but will try my best.......... On Wed May 30th 2018 I went to work as usual. I was having slight abdominal pains but thought they were braxton hicks as usual and they would stop..... In fact after work I went to the market cos I seriously wanted to eat banga rice...... By 5pm I tried to sleep since the pain was still there but it didn't allow..... decided to count it maybe they were contractions but they were so irregular I just forget..... By 10pm the pain was still there so called DH cos he travelled and we decided to just watch at least till 11pm..... By then pain still remained and I decided to go to the hospital cos I didn't want to remain in the house alone. At least there I would be checked . Better safe than sorry....... I decided to carry my bags cos we had to call DH friend to carry me. Only for me to get there doctor said I was 4cm..... Chia..... 4cm  Pain that was bearable suddenly I started crying I don't know why oh..... But I prayed for strength esp since I was alone without DH. I calmed down oh and even fell asleep sef.... The doctor came to meet me to check for contractions since I dey sleep ..... Anyway by 1am he decided to burst my water to hasten labour... and my dear sisters that was when I saw heaven and came back..... The pain was horrible.... Jehovah stood by me and answered my prayers cos by 3am I was already shouting "pupu" oh I was given a cut and my Prince came out screaming..... The doctor was surprised about how fast I progressed cos it's supposed to be slow esp for a ftm....... I pray for safe delivery to us all...... Mother and Baby Alive..... Good morning mama's I can't walk properly or carry my legs especially my right leg I feel numb down there though I did lots of house chores yesterday I don't know if that is the cause. Please is anyone experiencing same? Took paracetamol last night woke up this morning again with same pain please help .  Also excessive poo been purging since yesterday morning... |

Bennyandrews:See the kind of fear radiating through me now. Please, you shouldn't have gone for the massage but all will be well with you and your LO in Jesus name, as for the herb. DON'T TAKE IT. THROW IT AWAY! Ladies, please, no matter how close or unclose we are with our MIL, we aren't obligated to do as they say, we aren't puppets. Don't cook up stories cos you don't want to offend them. Offend them and be alive. If anything happens, na the MIL go find brand new gal for her son to keep him company so that the dead wife's spirit won't torment him. So stand your ground, let your NO be NO. That massage might even have spiritual inclinations but every evil altars raised against us will be broken down in Jesus name. Please feel free to ask us anything bothering you here before taking steps or better still make Google your friend. In the immediate past government in Ondo state, the governor then is a medical doctor, he scrapped all traditional birth centers, gathered all the birth attendants accross the state together, trained them in different skills free of charge ranging from soap making to pastries, tie and dyes etc. After that he gave them 20k each to start a business in the fieldskills they chose. Then the government officials went all over the state to lock down and seal all traditional birth centers. He now introduced a referral plan for them, for any pregnant woman that comes to them for delivery, all they need do is to take the woman to the nearest mother and child hospital and get a sum of money, i think 1k per each preggo they bring in. He gave all the registered preggo telephone free so they could call their doctors and nurses at any time of need. At a point, they even send ambulances to pick in remote areas. V.D and C.S was free back then. All this point to the fact that pregnancy is a delicate condition and it's not small work to keep mother and child alive. May God be with us all. Amen 30 Likes |

MILs and Mothers, sometimes, they give some weird advice because that's the way they were taught in ancient times. It is left for us to pick out the useful ones and discard the rest. I guess you attend antenatal class? The nurses usually warn moms to never go for womb massage because it is dangerous. You should have your gyn/obs number, ask him things you aren't too sure of. My advice, go for a scan and please dispose that herbal mix. Alcohol is not even good for a pregnant woman and your pregnancy is still early. Bennyandrews: 4 Likes 1 Share |

I also have left leg ache as well and I was purging for 2 days then I was advised to drink garri with cold water without sugar. Till now I never shit since Saturday. For the leg pain please endure but once it's getting too hard to bear, run to the hospital. God will help us all. Please does anyone have any recommendations for this vaginal pain cos the way I'm feeling ehn it's like I've been on marathon sex for 1 month straight and the pain no gree me near my oga o. Bennyandrews: After my experience, I wouldn't advise anyone to see these people at the early stage of pregnancy. My mum took me to see one who claimed she can help with my morning sickness while I was still searching for my drug to curb it. At 12weeks, this woman touched my stomach and whispered to my mum that I'm not pregnant. Despite telling her I don't want my tummy to be massaged, she still tried to massage it but I stopped her. First trimester is a delicate stage. So its best to be careful with whatever treatment you accept. Please explain these to your dh and let him be the one to talk to your mil.
