Sane missing the Confed cup because he opted for surgery so he wont miss Citys pre season didn't do his NT career any good at all. Brandt Goretzka, Rudy Werner all went to the Confed and won so they have that advantage over him

He should try next time or [
better still transfer to Bayern if he wants a National Team shirt

Low said he dropped Sane for Brandt. Brandt can play 10. Reus can play 10. Muller can play 10. Draxler can play 10.

So it's not as if they were short in Ozil' s position. I would have dropped Ozil and taken Sane.

I agree Sane has turned out lackluster performances in Die Mannschaft colours, but the World Cup is at most 6 or 7 games. Form should also play a part in consideration for who makes the team.
