Since presidency has intervened ,police tried to be more civilized in their approach ..Kudos to the learned men who put heads together to advise the IG and DSS ..If it were OBJ period ,the senate president would have been kidnapped for questioning ,given an automatic resignation letter to sign out..Buhari is indeed a democrat 1 Like |

lonecatt: Oga calm down. Two wrongs don't make a right. Saraki wasn't accuse of sending them on an operation. He was being accuse of arming those thugs. Unfortunately for him, they have confessed to killing 33 Nigerians in that operation. That's accessory to murder. Just because the IGP was wrong earlier doesn't excuse what he did. We need to make him a scapegoat so that other politician will be carefully next time. We are talking about the safety of our lives. It's not politicking time. 2 Likes |

This just confirming how politicized our Police has become. After Saraki apparently met with Osibanjo , the police decided to change "an invitation to a written statement of response" Probably if Saraki can meet further with Buhari, all charges against Saraki would be drop ? Everything is about negotiated settlement. " THE NIGERIAN POLICE FORCE SHOULD JUST TRANSMISSION TO A POLITICAL PARTY" 1 Like |

His words: “The Five (5) gang leaders further confessed during investigation that they are political thugs under the name Youth Liberation Movement a.k.a “Good Boys” admitted and confessed to have been sponsored with firearms, money and operational vehicles by the Senate President, Sen. Bukola Saraki and the Governor of Kwara State, Alh. Abdulfatah Ahmed. If this is true,It is criminal to equip someone with illegal firearms. They could be jailed for this! 1 Like |

luvmijeje: You are the one that needs to calm down. If he is been accused don't you think" he is innocent until you can prove him guilty?" Why are you rushing to make him a scapegoat when you haven't convicted him? 1 Like 1 Share |

ukukaegbu: Vice President had to step in to address the issue. The Police did nothing wrong inviting Saraki for questioning. It's only in Nigeria that we protect wealthy men from police interrogation. Am not with the prof on this

I weep for this country and like seriously why the sudden cowardice? I.G's manhood suddenly went flaccid after seeing his future in the Nigerian police if he drags the name of the so-called big boy of politics. I don't see any good development as that case unfolds, Buhari and his boys have disappointed me big time. |

Chukazu: Have you seen the picture of one of the suspects behind him in a party? I've not pronounced him guilty yet. I'm only saying, he should present himself to the police for questioning. Let him tell Nigerians the relationship between him and those suspects? Saraki's live is not more important than the 33 Nigerians who died. 1 Like |

luvmijeje:which scape goat bros ,who told you saraki armed them or you are already believing the IGP who has a grouse with the SP . what I am saying is that the IGP should not allow is personal grouse with saraki create tensions in the country . psychology makes us to know that all this is a follow up to the senates invitation of the IGP and makes the whole exercise foolish and childish |
Re: Police cancel invitation to Saraki; demand written explanation by Koolking(m): 5:40pm On Jun 04, 2018 |
Chukazu: The police were on course and Saraki respectfully accepted to honor the police invite. The VP's intervention is shameful and debasing. I disagree with the VP on this. It makes a mockery of the paradigm shift in Nigeria's nascent governance |

MadeInTokyo: The same way ur lord and personal saviour GEJ engaged Ameachi in roforofo fight abi? Now let me tell u what u don't know. Asking Saraki to tell his own side of the story via writing won't change anything if he is actually guilty. This move is to allow him tell the Nigerians his own version of the story before the real details of the suspects confession will be used to confront him. And by then it will be too late to give another version of the story. |
