No, the payments in my bank statement reflected the allowee from the Government. My PPA also paid me in cash and I have no evidence of this, i have no pay slips or anything. I intend to write an LOE explaining this.

OK. Thanks a lot. Just came from my PPA and met with the proprietress. So I will be getting reference for 10months indicating I was paid in cash.
Never thought of adding my NYSC. Just imagine?

That was quite fast. Madam abeg, tell me your prayer strategy cos it was definitely effective.
PPR in less than 30 days wow.

Biko, who else has May AOR here.

author=Ronards post=68194300]Hhhmmmm........ I don't even know how to start.

I give all glory to the almighty God, there surely is a God in heaven.

Towards the end of 2016, I looked at my kids n suddenly became scared for their future in this country. Spoke with my hubby n his reply was, "ki lawa fese bayi? Let's just be prayerful ". Hhhmmmm....... I don't think this man understands what I'm talking about. I lost hope for this country (sorry to say). We started praying " God, please have mercy on my family n do that which only u can do".

December 2016, I suddenly got a call from a family friend who I haven't spoken with for almost five years. He's a Canadian citizens based in Manitoba. He said n I quote
" se Nigeria to wa yen oti su e ni?"
I replied
"haaaa, oti su mi ooo but what can I do? "
Then he asked if I won't mind Canada n that was it ooooo
(really at that point, all I wanted was to leave this s******e of a country)

That same December, I applied for international passport. I didn't get it until January 2017

April 2017, I wrote ielts
LRWS: 7.5,7.5,6.5,7.5
Too low for direct Express Entry
Told me I have to go through PNP
What did I know? I was like anyhow, kin sa ti dey Canada.

So the journey to PNP started. Applied for Wes ECA n my transcript from OOU In May. OOU showed me pepper oooo didn't get transcript until August. To verify again took another one month.
Finally I got ECA n CxC evaluation in October 2017

Fast forward February 2018 after ITA we started looking for POF. Chai..... we suffer small ooooo I contemplated declining several times but my family friend was like if you decline, u are on ur own ooooo, he'll just take his hands of my application
Kamari!!! The struggle continued. Finally God helped us n we were able to sell off our landed property which led to bulk transfer of cash into our account.

Now na LOE we started to google how to write Loe n that was how I came across this wonderful thread with amazing people n large hearts (God bless u all) I copied my LOE from this thread can't remember the part n the name of the good person that posted it but it was in a tabular form. We prayed n fasted before we finally submitted our application im May 2018.

So house, here it is

The process is quite simple

Foreign transcript is #50,000

Admin charge is #1,000

I requested on the 30th of April and was called on the 25th of May to pick up same.Although I attached photocopies when I submitted.

If you did Diploma or DFP you will have to oay an extra #50,000 for them to process that as well.

Hope this helps.

please ma can you guide me on getting oou transcripts i finished from oou who how and where to proceed

Okay ma.

I was told I had to pay an extra #50k for them to process my DFP.(I actually paid)

Please you can visit Admin to reconfirm this.

Why would I lie about this info anyways? What is there for me to gain?

Oh my mistake

I didn't do my Bsc at OOU so it makes sense to pay the extra 50k

My apologies

I see a lot of people who just submitted their applications, are so anxious to get to Canada.

Just relax. I hope you have your strategies all planned out. You would need as much money as you can get for accommodation, school or skill upgrade. Accommodation in Canada is quite expensive. What we know as a room and parlor is in the range of C$1400 to C$1500/month (that's about N450K/month) . You will need money for a lot of things and work may not come immediately.

So why don't you relax and make some more money instead of worrying over an application you just submitted. Its not always "how fast'' but how well.

Be patient and get prepared.

I am also using my NYSC experience, this may help. I culled it from a friend’s NYSC reference letter(she got her PR, if it helps)

Corp members are paid a monthly salary of 19,800.00 naira by NYSC, which JohnDoe received for the period of March 2095 – February 2096.

This was added at the end of my letter just under my job duties. I feel it would make the application more credible as the salary account statements reference “NYSC” as @dumprep pointed out

@Luce, i evaluated with WES. I don't recall any stage like "we are authenticating your report" stage. My report came on the day they said it would be complete and only then did i jump into the pool.

Some people are lucky to have theirs come out a day (this is what most people say) before the due date.

I've not heard of reports coming out 2/3 days before due date but it is not impossible. But more than anything else, I would say be patient. It is better to wait another week or so until your turn comes than than to jump in with a wrong reference or a forged one.

Thank you.
Tbh I'm still confused as to how anyone got the impression that that's what I was tryna do. I honestly had to go back and reexamine my question and I'm still lost.
I even specifically asked ifeoma77 cos I noticed hers came a few days earlier than estimated and I was just trying to figure out if I could possibly get it in time for the draw tomorrow (like guitarlife I think got his) but I suppose in the absence of context everyone is free to let their imaginations run wild.
Thanks for being mild with your caution though; albeit unnecessary, the approach is appreciated smiley.

I bet you that the accommodation of C$600 will be unfurnished and very far from job hotspots, schools etc.
My point is, people shouldn't be worried about their recently submitted applications when they have a lot of things to prepare for.

And you think that C$12000 is such a large sum of money in Canada?
