everyone else was trash, so, Ogu is getting hype because he put in a good shift....some of the hype is not even related to his football skills.

I see.... now you're getting my angle. thanks for that. so I'm I still dishing lies?

I bet some people also thought Germany was funny for dropping Sane. Best forward that forgets he is in a team sport, what is the point?

All the run he was running against England, what was the point?

Some of you are worse than Rohr, even when your best forward fails to work for the good of the team, you throw him on the bench and let him think of his faults. The team is bigger than one individual.

I find the idea that Moses is one savior for this team as very ridiculous, but you can all keep worshipping your Moses, until his selfishness costs you a game
Jah bless!

Lol.... Mikel will step things up. Even he knows... In Russia, we won't have many chances. Mikel na Introvert oooo... I hope una know. On the pitch, he exerts his influence and all and we see him fighting like an Eagle but don't forget his core personality.

introvert don't make good leaders.

extrovert tends to have that driving spirit, ability to get more from people.

i remember seeing azplic shouting on moses against man U or man city.

his way above all of them in that team, career wise and everything wise, he did a very good job with the under 23 boys

There was actually a time Ogu was rated the best midfielder in Israeli league.

One or two years ago.

He is highly rated there.

He also gets Europa exposure

Great man...Ogu is restricted in SE...In Israel,he more of box to box....a tall giant in the middle....spraying passes....firing long missiles...and scoring too...In SE,he cant roam..

People are happy that we beat Argentina, naturally, they are happy with players that did it...Ogu s performance was outstanding...he showed his defensive prowess and tactical positioning...Again,you are as good as your last game...based on this, Ogu did well against England. His calming effects and uncanny positioning and defending was super grade

That's why I expect people to follow him and refer to his good form at club and country, not just now that all focus in now toward world cup.

I bet some even questioned his name on the list. Some cos of the "Rohr loves Agu" talk.

I'm happy he is rewarded for his form. I foresee him outperforming baba Mikel Obi at Russia.

I concur wholeheartedly, Iwobi is exactly what we need behind our strikers and the strikers should be players who play for the team and not one smelly rat urine that thinks he's bigger than the team.

Left for me I would drop that vicmo boy
See the sweet sublime pass he gave to Ighalo.

This is totally uncalled for and immature.

move to where? To go chop bench or what? If he is happy and gets playing time in Israel, he can stay there.

We should stop putting undue pressure on our players to leave where they are and run to perceived bigger leagues, where they fade away or are under appreciated. A lion in the jungle is better than a dog in the city

I have fixed it for you. Introverts may not ALWAYS make good or great leaders.

But recall that some of the finest leaders and CEOs of fortune 500 companies are introverts. Bill Gates, Larry Ellison, Steve Jobs (before his death), Mark Zuckerberg, Steven Ballmer, etc... Even coming home, Florence Seriki (omatek owner), Aliko Dangote, etc, etc...

Extroverts tend to make Great laders in most instances no doubt. Most extroverts who become leaders are SanChlor... A mix of sanguine and choleric predominantly.

On Mikel, I honestly feel he is trying his best. Being an introvert with some extroverted tendencies and having to lead this team is something I think he has handled pretty well. He was one of the inspirational factors during our WCQ campaign in that group of death. Also his role in the U-23s as captain, leader and benefactor too... Splendid. I think he is doing well. And I trust he will lead his troops right in Russia.

His Uncle is JJay Okocha he got into the SE before he had played one senior professional game for Arsenal.

However, Sone Aluko, Hope Akpan, with outstanding performances for the SE have been dropped, set aside and forgotten.

Add to that Aina set aside for a player that has failed to meet the standard at low club level..

THATS GREAT INSPIRATION for future Nigerian origin players.

Nigerian origin players know they face discrimination from thier white peers but the discrimination from your own people is much MORE PAINFUL.

NUFF said

Been a foreign born is not an automatic license to get a start up shirt in the SE. You must prove yourself.

Iwobi, Ekong, Ebuehi, Balogun, Idowu provwd themselves and are in the Squad to Russia.

But you seem to like gloating unnecessarily because of one or two players who didn't make the cut. Everyone can't make the cut except you want all of the SE players to be foreign born.

You are never satisfied. Always wanting more!!

Aina could not displace washed up Echiejile... That says a lot about his quality. Aina was first brought in before idowu. The left full back position was up for his taking before Idowu came to the fold. A fellow right footed player like Aina, it took Idowu just 45 minutes to snatch the LB from Him, you should really be ashamed of the kind of player you sell to us.

Let the remaining foreign born go to hell for all we care angry those that will play for us will play. And for those that don't, so be it.

abeg, which more goals in the qualifiers? It was 3 goals, not even 5, 3. Kelechi, Iwobi and Mikel had 2 each. Iwobi has racked up 3 goals in 4 games for us now, he is our most in form forward, Musa is our best performing forward in the World Cup.

So, tell me, what is so special about Moses aside his dribbling and running like a headless chicken that others cannot do?
Omo since the Zambia match Iwobi has been on a good goals return for the SE.

Don't be surprised if he scores our first Russia 2018 goal (likely against Croatia because I believe we will score against the croats.. Possibly more than one in fact. Likely to be cagey but we will score and we can score goals)

Even Rohr dey tell am to get ready...

His reaction and jump celebration to his goal was very very passionate indeed.

I saw real Eagles fire in his celebrations... That "we are champs and don't give up" attitude... That moment was it... The moment the stuff of a player ready to lead the way shone through...
That's what I expected from Mikel. True he's done his best but we are moving into an entirely different theatre of war. Every player must see himself as a warrior. Mikel is the battle tested commando who must rally his men. I really love iwobi's passion
