That's why even if Messi wins the WC he can never be regarded as much as Maradona. Maradona had this craze man devil streak in him- a cheat and a genius. Messi is all sweetness. Too much sugar no good!

In Mel Gibson s Apocalipto...not knowing that a jaguar was behind him...chasing him....those tireless vile men laid an ambush for Jaguar Paw,when they caught a glimpse of him, they gave chase....then the jaguar bounced on one them and tore his face....after, one of them said " the prophecy was told, today i saw a man run with a jaguar,it is a bad omen".There is relative PEACE in Eagles today before the mondial unlike previous ones...it is a good omen.....
Apocalypto - one of my best loved movies. Let me also serve this one

Flint Sky: Those people in the forest, what did you see on them?

Jaguar Paw: I do not understand.

Flint Sky: Fear. Deep rotting fear. They were infected by it. Did you see? Fear is a sickness. It will crawl into the soul of anyone who engages it. It has tainted your peace already. I did not raise you to see you live with fear. Strike it from your heart. Do not bring it into our village.

The Eagles must strike out fear from their hearts. I wish they'd be told about the power and majesty of this king of birds whose name they bear.

emphasis should be placed on the kind ot striker to play upfront...not Ighalo kind of striker....but someone like nancho who can link up well with the lad...with good positional sense and good finishing.....

nancho and simmy should be tried against Czech...we have had enough of Ighalo.....

Of course I was rooting for Nacho like we had it against Argentina not one charcoal that thinks he's bigger than others

The look on VicMo's face is kinda of envy that it wasn't him seeing the net. If he doesn't play more with a teammate when attacking, I'd have no choice than to remember him as just a selfish fellow even if he is 50million pounds now. Iwobi's contributions is slowly eclipsing his importance to the team winning.
What brings you to such resentful conclusion? You're all blabbing because he hasn't score a goal- ur narrative would have been different. his 'selfishness' would have been 'awesome'.

When was the new coach appointed? Mustafa Er was appointed interim manager on April 10 this year. So we have to start from there because when people said Shehu benched Agu they are speaking about later in the season after Le Guen was fired.. Now the first 2 of the 8 matches I gave you was even prior to the firing of Le Guen.

Let's start the analysis:
Match 1: Agu played at the left side of the DM pivot while Shehu played as Right Midfielder.

Match 2: Shehu played at the left side of the DM (where Agu played the previous week), and Agu was moved to the right side of DM.

Match 3: Same as match 2 above

Match 4: Agu was clearly benched by Soyalp. Shehu retained his left DM position. Why was Agu not the preferred choice at left DM, a position he has played before? (Refer to Match 1 above).

Match 5: Shehu and Soyalp still a prefferred choice, Agu benched. Same question. Why was Agu not the preferred choice at left DM, a position he has played before?

Match 6: Shehu moved to RM, and Badu takes his place at left side of DM. What is Agu still doing in bench? Shehu proving indispensable grin

Match 7: Shehu and Soyalp partnering again as the DMs. Agu is still sitting in bench.. Not even coming in as a sub all this while.

Match 8: Shehu giving a special leave, and from the woods Agu appears as DM. Soyalp moved to RM..

From the above, if you can't deduce that Shehu is a preferred DM to Agu by Bursaspor new manager, Er, then you hate the truth.

Modified

Let me add that Mustafa Er was Bursaspor's assistant manager, when Le Guen was in charge. So both Agu and Shehu was well known to him before he became their interim coach.

You mean after just 3 matches Agu didn't play after Le Guen was, this tantamount to Agu was displaced by Shehu in Turkish league, Agu is been bench by Shehu our right back... and Shehu is benching Agu? Bhuuuhahaha! Bhuuuhahaha! Bhuuuhahaha! grin

Very funny dudes here. Lmao.

So, It's now after Le Guen was sacked wey only 6 matches remained to be played? grin

Stop trying to be smart oga.

So because Agu played on the left side of the DMF, since Shehu came, he has been benched? grin

How many times did Agu play on the Left side of the DMF from the day Shehu landed in the club? Answer is once.. I mean just once after more than 6 - 7 games. Oya! Prove me wrong. grin

You said after the coach was sacked right, Agu was benched for Shehu.

Na lie, Agu and Shehu paired in the first match of the new and Agu played on the right side of the DMF. I lie?

As you have rightly said Soyalp benched Agu on the right side of the DMF in the second match of the new coach..

Now after the match, how many matches did Shehu play as a DMF in the last?

Only three out of the remaining 5 matches left.

Oga, Shehu didn't bench Agu on the right side of the DMF. Let us stop the lies abeg.

Shehu was the preferred choice after Er took over as coach is far different from saying Shehu benched Agu in the Turkish league. The latter could be misleading because it is is pretty vague.

The point is Shehu has been the preferred choice since Er took over.. gat it??

you are just saying a bunch of nothings. Both players are right-footed. It's just like saying a striker can only flourish if played in the right side of a two-prong attack. And that he has only played once in his career on the left side of a two-prong attack. Are you even thinking? Where did Agu feature for the Super Eagles? Where did Agu feature in his club career besides Bursaspor, was it always on the right side DM? There isn't any SIGNIFICANT difference playing on the right or left of a double pivot DM, especially when comparing two players that are both right-footed. gat it? In fact I can give you 8-10 matches Agu featured on the left side of a double pivot prior to his move to Turkey. It's not new to him. The fact remains Er sees Shehu as a better DM. It is clear like broad daylight.

Modified
Let me even take you on as regards the period Shehu arrived the Super Lig to the time Le Guen was sacked,

1. Against Alanyaspor, Shehu paired with Agu in a double pivot. Left and Right respectively.
2. Against Besiktas, Agu served a match suspension, Shehu played as a single DM in front of the center backs
3. Against Akhisarspor, Shehu played as a single DM ahead of the center backs. While Agu was benched
Question: Why was Agu not the preferred player in that role?
4. Against Malatyaspor, Agu played on the left side of a double pivot. Shehu was benched (Agu the preferred choice clearly).
Question: Didn't Agu feature on the left side?
5. Against Galatasaray, Agu was deployed to the left side DM in a 3-4-2-1 formation, Shehu featured as RM
Question: Didn't Agu play at the left side here?
6. Against Kayserispor, Shehu deployed to left side pivot DM. Agu benched
Question: Why wasn't Agu favored to start in the left side (where he played in the previous game)?
7. Against Osmanlispor, Shehu at left DM, Agu in the right.
8. Against Sivasspor, Shehu serves suspension, Agu in the left side double pivot DM
Question: Here we go again. Agu plays in the left side DM. What were you yapping?
9. Against Antalyaspor, Shehu played as RM, Agu in the left side of double pivot DM
Question: Here we go again. What are you yapping?
10. Against Kasimpasa, Shehu paired Agu. Shehu at left side of DM, and Agu right

The above is the breakdown from the time Shehu arrived at Bursasor till the time Le Guen was sacked.
Oga, do you still have a case?
The only time Shehu was benched, Agu played on the left side DM. And he also played there several times since Shehu arrived.

Isn't it clear that they are somewhat in competition for DM roles? Be a saint bro and admit the truth.

forgiveness:

Madrid and barca want to sign a 17 year old from santos, brazil for €45m-€50m.
Honestly, we're seriously lagging behind, because I want to believe we produce talents of similar quality.

This is no surprise. The Brazillian league is one of the best in the world and can go toe to toe with any European league in terms of talent. Their teams always appear in the FIFA Club World Cup regularly.

Shehu ahead of Ebuehi ?

Rohr has the final say.

I think when he starts with a 4 backline he prefers Shehu but when he switches to 3 backline he prefers Ebuehi.

Seems Rohr has decided to stick to the 4 back and keeps switching to 3 back when the need arises.

Idowu copes well with both set up and that is a plus for both him and the team as no substitution of him is needed to switch tactics.

But Rohr would have to substitute Shehu for Ebuehi to switch tactics.

It is obvious Rohr is not comfortable starting games with 3-5-2.

Let's just watch and see how today's game will play out.

4 things I don't expect Rohr to do today.

1. Starting Iwobi. I expect Rohr to be wise enough to drop alex to the bench to protect and keep him safe from any injury. That Guy almost pulled an harmstring in our last match. It'll be unwise of him to start him.

2. Starting Ndidi. Ndidi should be introduce later in the second half. 20mins of football will be okay.

3. Playing 4 at the back. Perfection of the 3-5-2 formation should be his priority now as we're only 10days to our opening match.

4. Starting Ighalo. I'm expecting Rohr to Re-assess Simmy once again as Ighalo has shown that he can not be trusted to deliver goals...
