KASU Gets A New Deputy Vice Chancellors by 16Ebisco: 12:28am On Jun 06, 2018
Prof. Abdullahi Ashafa has been appointed the new Deputy Vice Chancellor Academic of the Kaduna State University (KASU).

Also appointed is Prof. Yohanna Tella, a Professor of Mathematics, as Deputy Vice Chancellor Administration.

The Public Relations Officer of the university, Adamu Bargo told the News Agency of Nigeria,NAN, on Tuesday in Kaduna that the appointments were ratified by the Senate of the university at its 85th meeting.

Until his appointment, Ashafa, a Professor of Diplomatic History was the Dean of Post-Graduate School of the institution, while Tella was the deputy dean of the school.

Ashafa and Tella will take over from Prof. Ado Ahmed and Prof. Alexander Kure, the outgoing DVC Academic and DVC Administration respectively.

Similarly, Prof. John Laah, the Dean of Sciences will now head the Post-Graduate School, subject to confirmation by the university’s governing council.

El rufai has destroyed Kaduna. But I'm not sympathizing with them. They celebrated GEJ defeat with coffins, having no knowledge that they where celebrating with same coffin they would be buried in.

KASU is hardly a university, most of the students are from southern kaduna and their lecurers from kaduna state basically. I really wonder why hausa guys and muslims dont wanna school there? Maybe d name shd b changed to southern kaduna and plateau university

Just like ABU has also been highjacked by the core Hausa and Muslims. For your information out of all the tertiary institutions in Kaduna State none of it is located in southern Kaduna. That speaks volume about justice and equality in that state

That is because the Pioneer Vc was from southern kaduna.
So you have lot of Southern kaduna and plateau state students there.
He has finish his tenure now. Soon hausa fulani will take over the school.

U re not far from d truth but did u know that most of d core courses we term as professional courses are being given to d hausas and Muslim

So the Hausa people schooling there nko? KASU have almost equal representation and if you feel that way...the school strictly adhere to cut off mark (at least while i was there/during Prof. Qurix), possibly the Christians past it more
