That's what we are saying. Not every blame must be accorded to the Coach... some of the players are to be blamed as well. I feel people think we are absolving MOU of the blame and that is not true. There's a reason some French people are calling for him to be placed on the bench.

The painful part of it is that he seems not to understand why people are criticising him... based on his interview he thought it was cos of goals. He's still playing like a player with only potentials while his mates are already doing more than that. He has been tried in different positions and somehow nothing positive has been achieved... that can never be fault of the manager.

true, if he can't adapt, he should be sold and replaced with savic or veratti. But i don't see mou selling him sha.

Funny enough, I don't think it's Mourinho's tactic that's regressing these players because Mourinho has no tactics to begin with, except in big games where he seems to display his 'park the bus' style.

The problem with Mourinho is he didn't do much study on his player to know their style of play, for example Martial is a type of player who needs a 'dummy runner' kind of striker in the team and Rashford fits that perfectly under Vangaal.

We all know Martial's off the ball movement is nothing to write home about but his 'on the ball game' is the best among our forwards, hence the reason he needed space to salom into when dribbling with the ball and Rashford's love for drifting to wing gives Martial this by drifting to the right wing therefore ensuring Lingard drift inside to inject the needed bite in our sluggish snail of a midfield (3-man midfield of Carrick, Rooney and Fellaini) while Martial catches the opposition off gaurd by saloming into the central final third from nowhere. More reason why Rashford should have been developed as a striker because he's got similar attributes with Diego Costa who's also a dummy runner whereas Martial is more or less our 'hidden Pius' .
