You just a sauce without using tomatoes ... was tired of tomatoe stew jare

It’s more of a Jamaican recipe I just tweaked it a bit ... .. if oninions and peppers then you add a bit of browning sauce and soy sauce when marinating the chicken ....
Very tasty

The rice .. I boiled it with coconut milk , thyme , and black eyed beans ..... to give it that brownish colour ...

Brown sauce ( its called browning .. most people use it for making chocolate cake to enhance the colour but it’s also used in sauces )

You slow cook it so all the peppers melt and forms a thick base ... you add the chicken that has been marinated and shallow fried to the sauce and leave it to cook till all the flavour has gone inside the chicken ..

This is just an alternative if you are fed up of eating tomatoes in stew ...
You can also add carrot and potatoe to the stew (optional)

I Will be cooking curry Goat stew in the weekend ( easy curry recipe) my younger sister nearly due and she want me to teach her how to make curry apparent the spice helps induce labour.

That’s the one I use all the time
If u see it says for gravy and sauces ... that’s the one you get ... so the stew comes out like the one below ... left over from last night
