MI cloud back up for me is 80% Google 10% local Back 10%

Mi cloud makes changing of phone easier, wifi password, Call history, sms, Notes, and many more even User settings

Update your device if there is any availability update or download the rom manually and flash.

I'll say Google because it's easier restoring on a non xiaomi device and even iOS. Just connect to the internet and your contacts, calenders etc update automatically.

All versions are available on express so far the buyer can afford it (still cheaper than d likes of DHL tho). It was the common aim of price friendliness that make express shipping looks like it's for Chinese rom/versions only. In most buyer's words, "after all, I can always move to the global rom instead of the price difference".

The options are many, each with its price tho
AliExpress (regular shipping), price is long delivery period
Express (global rom/Chinese rom), price is global version
Express (global version), price is money
AliExpress (expedited shipping), price is money

Fact is dt Chinese OEMs/technologies aren't for anyone that can't pay any of the above prices.

Given the Nigerian situation of uncertainty of life after school, the probability is close to zero. There will never be a right time unless the individual wants to continue living on hope

i dont know if kingroot has an exploit for d fone since am not usin it, but here is a general modus operandi for obtaining root on most xiaomi phones
-first u unlock ya bootloader
-second u flash a twrp image file using a pc
-third from the new custom recovery, u flash a root zip file it cud b SuperSU by chainfire or Superuser by koush

But then Google doesn't backup SMS and call history. Unless you want to use Truecaller for that.
