More dead cars flooding the system.
More accidents.
More driver's default.

Who's to blame

Just passing and I say make I hail the king.

But wait, why is that whenever a car owner advertise cars for rentals and I saw your moniker viewing topic, my mind always tell me your reply would either be:

1. More cars No Drivers or
2. More dead car coming on board.

Just thinking aloud ni oooo.

The guy has a "beef" with car owners.
He forgot it wasn't the fault of car owners that he hasn't been able to get his own car.

With this kind of attitude, I doubt he is going to get his own car soon.

Couldnt agree with you more bro. A lot of dead and refurbished cars being rolled into the system and when drivers dont meet up to expectation as a result of consistent breakdowns and job hiccups it turns to trouble sit iyanga go wake am. Theres no single day u wont see a broken down e-hailing vehicle on the road or one moving slowly wt its double pointer flashing indicating faulty car.

I think he has Drivers best interest at heart and we need to encourage and give him accolades for his works.

He speaks from his wealth of experience and we need to understand that he has a point.

Are there dead cars on Uber and Taxify? Maybe Yes!

Are prestine tokunbo bought and used on Uber/Taxify now dead car because of drivers negligence and recklessness? Maybe Yes!

We see things from different angle.

A car owner have his opinion whereas a driver also has his opinion. We are all human.

Let give him some accolades.

Relax Bro. Because you are doing business in your own way doesn't mean others would... There are people that still have conscience... They would never default... I for one don't like issues with Police or having issues with people. So if he choose to do his things that way doesn't mean he is not serious in the business and should be praying for his down fall... You can still collect assurance and all papers anid the driver would run away with your car and you would never see the guarantor... All this is based on conscience.
There is a whole lot of sense in the statement u just made.. May u live longer then ur fore fathers...

Kindly get ur own car and let's see if u wont have breakdown? Where did u get the idea that car breakdown means the car is dead. Millions of cars on ehailing ,running daily.its expected that we should see breakdown along the road. You driver partners that can't afford a tyre always make nonsense insinuations to confuse hardworking drivers..

I know what i am saying. You need to be part of it to know. You dnt sit back in the confines of ur home and office and know what is happening in the system. If u know u know. Long abandoned and dead cars parked on Lagos streets and owners compd are now being refurbished and pushed onto the road all in the name of making money, everyone want to be part of this e-hailing biz and by extension unsuspecting gullible and desperate drivers will pick them up and start agonizing the nxt minute. Please my dear bro kindly be informed that i hv two cars a Toyota corolla 05 and an Honda civic 07 on e-hailing and they are doing pretty fine on the road cos i drive the corolla myself and the other a trusted gentleman. I am my own boss and i know what i am saying cos its what we know and see all the time on the roads. Dont think drivers on this platform dont own cars ok. Theres actually someone on this platform that own 5 cars yet he still drives. I drive my own car cos i chose to and you cant sit ur fat asses out in the office and know what drivers face on the road. Nobody made you guys lord over drivers and if you are bitter about it kiss the road and experience it urself.

Breakdown is indeed inevitable in this business but what happens after the breakdown, Car owner is expected to fix it using oem parts knowing fully well the nature of this biz. I understand Chillex and I also understand u, but the truth is, most car owners just throw caution to the wind by replacing parts with the inferior ones just to get their weekly pay...

hard working drivers who have been on the platform since Inception will soon save enough money to buy their own cars.
