Elfmannisback: This makes a lot of sense, considering the cost of both is about the same amount. Thanks for your time. |

nikkytj11:hmmm. This is really tricky. I do not know for sure what information is shared amongst countries during background checks, but I think it's basically to know the reasons for visa refusal or deportation as case may be. People have gotten PPR even when they've overstayed in other countries. if work history is shared. then your friend could be penalised. it pays to be truthful or consistent with information in visa applications. 3 Likes 1 Share |

The wait is almost over I got my GCMS Notes and it reads: PA states employed by Wazobia Bank since 2009 till present. No payslips submitted. No salary deposits seen on bank statements but large deposits from Bleep Nigeria Limited. Company by that name found on internet:textiles. Also deposits from Beaurriful women association of Nigeria. It is possible that applicant is running a business while also working for the bank which is not unusual in a Nigerian context. Not mention of this in application. However the applicant must provide bank statements showing salary deposits from Wazobia Bank in order to corroborate her claim that she works there. Interview recommended at this stage but interview may be waived if requested bank statements are satisfactory. Documents I submitted previously: Payslips for one year Salary, savings, fixed deposit, and USD accounts with treasury bill as proof of funds. Reference, employment, deployment, redeployment and promotion letters. Copy of staff ID card. The account under scrutiny was the savings account but I have a separate salary account which I submitted. Is there anything else I need to submit to have the interview waived? 6 Likes 3 Shares |

Hello seniors, I did my nysc at a university which I want to claim points for. My question is this, is a reference letter from the department where I did the service sufficient or will I have to get it from the registry office? Cc GlitteringStar Newmum0618 et al. Thanks. |

Hello house, I have followed this thread sometimes last year but I was already 3/4 gone with my study permit so I couldn't look into this option. Well unfortunately I was refused study permit, re-applied and was refused again. I am now considering this route though I have so many issue bothering me about forging ahead with this. After checking things out, I decided with wifey that she will be the PA.She studied Microbiology but is a fashion designer(tailor) and she will use NOC 6342 B. In my first study permit application, she applied for open work permit to accompany me to Canada and filled her occupation there as fashion designer. My main concern now is the documents she will need to submit as a tailor cos she has her own establishment(though not registered). She trained in 2 different places as well. She served in a secondary as a biology teacher. Please help me out with what to do. God bless you all. @GlitteringStar @Newmum0618 Please help out cos we are confused about this. Reason why we decided that she should be the PA is that I am also an entrepreneur and I claimed CEO for my study permit application. |

Thanks to all who are helping out with answers to questions here. God bless you. Please I would like to know what to do to salvage this situation: My birth certificate which my late Mom left for me is 1982 (I have been using 1982 till date) but I just noticed that my WAEC certificate carries 1980(could have been a mistake when she was registering me into the secondary school in JS1. Can swearing an affidavit work 4 this? |

Hello people. Pls i was going to ask about family members . If you have 2 step mums , is it okay to include in your application as direct family members? One lives in usa with her 3 children the other in nigeria with 2 children but im confused that putting it will affect my application. My dad gave me part of the proof of funds Hope they dont start wondering if i have too much baggage. Does polygamy affect anything. |

katyamizotta: Be calm, good you noticed this via gcsm before they got to contact you. You can still salvage the time. At times, Visa Officers are impatient esp when attachments are plenty pages or case is peculiar. I read in previous pages where VO request for information previously provided. A LOE for your Job references placeholder & POF can help. Make the 1st page of your POF a Letter(brief layout/write-up) of pages to follow. A table should have analysis of the funds, columns for source/ page reference, another column for conversion rate etc for all the basic information needed/requested. E.g Page 1- This particular page Page 2 - 11 - Bank account statement. Page 3(line 4), Page 6 (line7) - Salary deposit. Page 12-13 - Payslips Page 14 - Pension payment. Page..... - Treasury bills etccccc. For your Job reference, do the same. Let your 1st page have that outlining where they will find the other information in the pages to follow, promotion letter, appointment etc. That is what I did anyway!! After reading previous posts on such issues. My Job reference placeholder & POF placeholder each had their 1st page as a letter with table of contents/explanation of pages to follow. Meanwhile, my LOE placeholder was a 2-page letter (merged that of job LOE & POF) Resubmit it but now with a letter directing the VO to the referenced page, paragraph and line. 19 Likes 8 Shares |
