Hello everyone, Please i need someone to help me out on this, my brother just got positive assessment on his bachelor's degree in Estate management, also he got positive assessment of 4.1 years work experience as a valuer. In the assessment letter, VITASSESS also recognized and assessed positively his masters degree in project management acquired from UK. Given that he will get 15 points from his bachelors degree, will he also get additional 10 points from his Masters degree?? Note that his nominated occupation is valuer. |

@TaiwoID VETASSES has the following to say about accessing occupations in Level C (which facility manager belongs to) Skills Assessment Criteria: Qualification(s) assessed at least AQF Diploma level with a highly relevant field of study and at least one year of post- qualification highly relevant employment at an appropriate skill level completed in the last five years; OR Qualification(s) assessed at least AQF Diploma level with an additional qualification at least AQF Certificate IV in a highly relevant field of study and at least one year of post-qualification highly relevant employment at an appropriate skill level completed in the last five years; OR Qualification(s) assessed at least AQF Diploma level without a highly relevant field of study and at least two years of post-qualification highly relevant employment at an appropriate skill level completed in the last five years; So, I think you're good to go. |

Too easy boss! 100% positive assessment as a Chemical Engineer with such a profile... and it's assessed by Engineers Australia Depending on how you package your application and the evidence submitted in support of your experience, your 5 years as a Materials and Planning Engineer would also be recognised as a related occupation coz Materials and Chemical are under the same ANZSCO 233*** (233111 and 233112). Best wishes. DIVFAVOR: 1 Like |

Dear Rosepetraa, Bless you, however, does that mean that with the AQF Diploma, my BTech is not equivalent to Australian Bsc? Secondly, does that mean that I will not be awarded full score for the assessment? rosepetraa: |
Re: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by bellong: 11:04pm On Jun 10, 2018 |
TaiwoID: Is there anyway your experience can be related to a valuer? Your estate management degree will give you a positive assessment as a valuer if you can relate your experience to it. Facilities manager is on special conditions on South Australia occupation list (check migration south Australia to understand) and sponsored by only Northern Territory. NT application takes at least 7months to be considered. |

Hi guys, I'm about to start my process but have one key question for the house. How does Bsc verification work? On two different ocassions, Sheffield Uni and UK embassy tried to contact my school IMSU and never got a response. I graduated in 2000 and I don't know if that is the reason why. I'm 41 and have always had problems getting my uni to respond. Meanwhile my sister who graduated in 2008 got a response for her document verification to the UK no problems experienced. BTW we both studied computer science Are there any IMSU graduates in the house? Please let me know if you had this problem. I have Age 15 Employment 15 Education 15 Language 20 Experience 10 Spouse 5 |

qixxy: I think you ought to go to the school to find out yourself. Just go there and find out from them yourself to know the actual reason. |

Are Nigerians qualify for eVisitor (subclass 651) to Australia? A guy just got 3 months and it needs to be verified. Kindly tell us what you know about this subclass 651. |

Mcslize: Thanks for your response @Mcslize. Each time this happened in the past, I traveled to Owerri and pushed buttons to dig out the letter. My concern with this scenario is that both times I was told that the response from my school was delaying the process. Will the ACS or Australian embassy give me this information? So that if it happens again I'll go to the school and get my HOD to move things along. From what I discovered, in 2000 when I graduated they didn't have electronic records in the school. I don't know why that should hinder verification though. |

Agbaletu: Nigerian passport holders are not qualified for eVisitor visa. If he is an EU Passport holder, then he can go ahead. |

qixxy: Of course your accessing body will inform you if there is any delay from your school responding to their request. If that happens, then it will require you to push some button to hasten things up. |

I must say that this platform has equipped me with many information. Please i need your advice. I am planning to send my credentials for assessment but i'm confused. I have Bsc Mass Communication (4 year course) from a Private University and Msc in Human Resources Management from a UK University. I have 8 years work experience in Human Resources and i plan to apply for NT SUBCLASS 489 visa-Human Resources Adviser (This is the only option i found to be relevant to my present job role). Do you think my first degree could affect the assessment. I also have a professional qualification (Chartered Institute of Personnel Management Nigeria). Will it add to my assessment. |
