believe it or not i am also an introvert as well but there will be a time u will be forced to go out and meet ppl. If u dont like sports u can try d reading club sha or nairaland as well..but be careful if na girl u wan hook up with here. This feeling is killing me slowly. Not monetary issues, I have a pile of it, but I'm just so drained right now... I've been indoors since Monday... No outing at all

If you think you are battling with depression then you need professional help and not spiritual one as some would suggest. I have some practising psychologists I can refer you to, if you are interested. There's always an underlying cause you might not even admit to yourself.

I understand you're depressed. Is there any way by which I can help you? Different people go through challenging times all the time. Temporarily, you can get some reprieve by talking to someone and also doing those things that make your mood lighter. If you think I am someone you you could share intimacies /confidentiality with, you could pm me.


Don't wilfully harm yourself. Stay strong. Nothing lasts forever, even your depression.

You need to reach out to people who can help, I think there is a thread for those going through similar thing on this forum.

Do you have friends who can listen to you and help?
Any family member around you?
Try not to stay alone at all time
Do things you enjoy that can keep your mind occupied before you get necessary help(please do that asap)

a lot of things can cause depression. What you just said isin't gonna cure his depression (probably). But yeah, being close to God is still good.

the best anti-depressant approach is to "give your life to JESUS CHRIST" by *believing in him as your Lord and God*, every other thing can follow after this...

I have noticed that most Nigerians do not understand the meaning of depression. When you tell someone that you are depressed, they basically do not know what it means, they do not understand what you are communicating and simply tell you sorry.
