I have since removed anything contradictory from my profile.

My only issue now is my username. It is a feminine name sort of. Though not a complete first name and last name thing. Yet, I fear they may hold onto that to do rubbish.

Normally, choice of username shouldn't be an issue since the platform didn't mandate people to indicate their sexes during registration. However, just like we all know - they act like dictators.

To the issue, like you stated, change your profile pic to your business niche, that is the main thing. Name is inconsequential as it can be for a brand. My username name has a keyword from my niche and another word that's feminine ; if for some reason they ask me, I would simply say it's a brand, I named it after my 'pet' or something.


Those who should be wary are the 'naija americanas' still flying Uncle Sam's colours. Make sure that a customer does not report you for any reason; unless it is a VERY serious issue with your account, do not CONTACT them. Their bots are quite advanced and will detect your IP history, once spotted, your are flagged and you MIGHT be asked to verify your account. Same tech is used on POD sites.


Nonetheless, the platform is evolving and it will not be easy for MOST sellers who are not from the west. That is why it is imperative that you see it as a temporary platform: get in, hustle, build relationships with your KEY customers and MOST especially, diversify your business.

My username too has a feminine name plus a niche keyword. Like you, that feminine name and former profile picture got me some lover boys. I could still remember one Chinese boy that fell in love and started ordering my gigs even when he didn't quite need them.

A major issue is that they don't even ask people to clarify anything. They would just disable your account immediately if they feel like doing so.

Well, one can always create a new account if need be, just that starting from the scratch again could be difficult. And buying reviews these days is even dangerous.

I am trying to verify my Fiverr account with my phone number but it isn't responding.

I tried so much but i they didn't send me any sms so i opted for the call in verification. They called but when i type in the code given to me, the submit button doesn't highlight so that I can submit it.

After several trails, they said verification failed and that i should try again after 48 hours.



Anybody here with a suggestion on what i can do to remedy the situation?
