Lol... as in eh... Now I am more interested in Morocco's group... Let the World cup begin abeg... Meanwhile, I am following news of events following the surprise sack and it is being circulated or rumored that four Madrid players and a non-madrid player already knew about Lopetegui's appointment at Madrid... The four Madrid players were said to have done their best to keep things low key but loooolll... E be like say The non-madrid player spilled it early kinda... Hahahahaha... Many eyes are turning to Pique... Hahahahahaha... Ofcos this may be untrue but most certainly this will disrupt some team harmony in the Spanish camp... Really wanna see how fast they come back from this. asha80: 1 Like 1 Share |

lexyman: Turn out to favor Spain or to favor Spain's rivals you mean? Spain is still among the favorites but with this sack, the psychology and atmosphere of the team is a concern now.... Would really love to see their reaction on-field... And yeah... The madird-barca rivalry and politics kinda extends even into the national team... Somehow Spain has been able to manage it well but now with this... Well... Shaw... See what the Spanish FA President said.. "Spanish FA president, Luis Rubiales: “Lopetegui’s been a great coach, but we can’t accept this behaviour. This has been done without our knowledge. The FA cannot be left outside the negotiation of one of its employees and find out just 5 mins before a public announcement.” “What has happened with Lopetegui has forced us to make this decision (of sacking him). He has done great things but now we wish him luck for the future.”

Russia 2018 General Titbits As you already know, Lopetegui has been sacked due to his Madrid move being announced just days to their first game and according to the Spanish FA presido, "without the knowledge of the Spanish FA" Trust the twitter news lords to feast on this and come up with crazy scenarios.... Looollll Agent: "They're considering experienced managers to replace Lopetegui." Moyes: "Yep." Agent: "Candidates need to have managed in Spain." Moyes: "Si." Agent: "They also need to have a full knowledge of Spanish." Moyes: "That's me, or Illarramendi, as they say in Spain." 3 Likes

Sacking that coach is quite commendeable. Spain aint childs play. The coach totally disrespected them. How can a madrid coach manage spanish national team Abeggi dey dont need him |

Already responded to your buddy, Sir Slowpoison... But lemme add that for each game of the World cup, some threads would be created for some and moved to front page, so those games can be followed either in those FP threads or here... The major difference between those FP match threads and this one is that this, right here, is "continuous" And I know of no other World cup thread having discussions on all teams.. At least for now.... But we try to give other teams a mention as we go along while focusing on the Nigerian team majorly. IamD18: |
