I advised anyone that wants phone to stay from this phone and not to buy it at all.
This is a phone that I regret in my life ever have anything to do with.

This phone was delivered to me on Tuesday May 22nd, 2018 and on same day discovered that after full charging and using for around 20minutes it starts generating heat and the battery percentage drops fast. The torch after putting it on decides by itself the duration it will stay. I calls Jumia 2nd to complain and for retrieval which they refused to do for 14days and I have no choice but to drop it off by myself at Jumia collection centre in Ikeja.
Jumia later called me on June 13th, 2018 and also send me message that my complains were unfounded because the phone is perfectly okay, therefore its being sent back to me !!!
It now became very clear to me that Jumia is deliberately forcing me to take the bad phone either I like it or not.
Is this how Nigerians are supposed to be treated and rubbished in Nigeria by Jumia that are priding themselves as "the online shop you can trust"?

Hey the heating of the phone depends on what you're actually doing with it, what the capacity of the battery? I'll advise you to check on the specs of the device you're about to buy next time you intend to.

I'm just patiently giving them till Monday before I'll open my own thread. They sold me a phone with faulty microphone, two weeks after returning it, they called to tell me that I exchanged the USB cable; just imagine the nonsense and have refused to refund my money. Even the person that came to collect the phone confirmed that he saw the cable. It's either one of their staff switched the cable or they don't want to refund me, either way I'm getting my money back.

The guy didn't mention the model of the phone, bontel has many products and TV King is just one of them... I got one from jumia some weeks ago and i have been enjoying it except for the abnormally loud speaker which is uncontrollable.

Probably he was just unlucky. I'm not a fan of jumia or other online purchasing sites because I have also heard many bad reports about them. but I considered the price of what I wanted to go for and since it wasn't much, I went for it.

Those specs are too good to be true. Use TECNO phones as a yardstick for how 20K and below phone specs should be.

Oops, sorry for the loss, but it's not wise to put that kind of amount on a phone whose manufacturers have little or no reputation in the mobile industry compared with the likes of iPhone, Samsung etc.

With that amount i will rather look for an infinix, a Tecno or Gionee in that price range. I guess you were tempted by the specs, and none of those brands i mentioned can give you a device with such specs at same price for now.

Even the TV King i bought was a risk, but I don't really care since the price is not much..... you don't patronize those relatively unknown brands with an amount you cannot afford to lose.

Please be kind to tell us the name of the device.

I am a proud Jumia sales consultant and i can say it anywhere. One thing is this, phone might develop issue immediately after purchase just like cars and ither electronic items, this is not to say the store sold faulty item to you. You reason for return mifht be genuine though but everyone is trying to play safe. I usually advise people to order through me not because i just want to make sale but because i want them to get the best experience on line. Many times, buyers don't check things that we the sales consultants check and i will not blame you because you have your own job while making orders on line (on Jumia) is my own job and i have served many nairalanders without issues... You can contact me on your own issue, let's see how we can get it resolved.

It is good to buy online through those who specialize in it, please stop this i know it all.

Please call/Whatsapp on 08091180137 to order from Jumia now through a reliable and trustworthy Jumia Sales consultant.

The bad aspect of my current experience with Jumia now is that they are telling me that they are resending the bad Bontel back to me, with its accompanied faults.

JUMIA what's your problem, why?
