I agree with you when you speak of chemistry issues but I think Argentina over the last decade or so have too much talent at their disposal and the managers/coaches of the national side over this period just picks stars (possibly to make his job easier) instead of functional players who can play together.

I really pity Messi. This game and the penalty miss in particular will haunt him for a very long time. He can never ever lay claim to being the greatest footballer ever again unless Argentina can turn things around in their subsequent game. Ronaldo's performance yesterday definitely put him under enormous pressure that he couldn't handle. So sad for him.
