Croatia is definitely an overrated team. No wonder they couldn't top their group in the qualifiers.
SE have tried despite the own goal. They should limit the long balls and try to use the width of the pitch. We are known to pass the ball around and not using long balls. They can switch to a 3-5-2 or allow the wing backs press up higher during attack. A 3-5-2 will help curtail the long balls from the Croatians and allow wing backs press up higher while giving some assistance to Ighalo.

Decent first half for the SE but our keeper still seems to be our weakest point.

We can still win this... Musa needs to come in for etebo, Mikel drop and pair with Ndidi, Iwobi takes over Mikel former position, Musa takes Iwobi former position.

I think Musa's pace can cause croatia problems

Mikel should be brought back to the middle and the guy wearing the number 4 jersey should be taken off. Place Iwobi in the middle and bring on another attacker. The way we are playing with the attackers always coming back to help the defense will eventually nullify our attack in the long run.

Mikel outstanding..... If he is we are in for a rough night. Our players are playing with fear. The defenders are unsure of themselves hence booting the ball to Igahlo. The teams structure is weak and the players are not comfortable with it.

We need that Nigerian arrogance and that samba samba play. It's very anaemic right now and it looks like Nigeria will fail if they don't step up

Let's be honest ...I am perhaps repeating myself...our boys can't defend ARIAL BALLS and SPOT KICKS/DEAD BALLS . We must avoid corners and spot kicks as much as possible to get anything out of this match.

what annoys me the most is the senseless prayer they gather to do while loosing, This is a game, it needs strategy to level up and win but NO! They relying on prayers.
