This Rohr's tactics of trying to use Ighalo to wear out the opponents in first half.... hmmm i hope it works. We are matching Croatia yes.... but a game like this is one we need to be putting our best foot forward. But lets see 2nd half and lets hope it wont be too late 2 Likes |

They didn't play badly. They were unfortunate to let in a goal But we need fire in our attack. 3 Likes |

Goke7:don't mind them Moses is good for running, you don't send in someone like that to start a game You will see, he will send in Musa at the 70th minute to run about aimlessly. Very predictable. I hate predictable |

Amodu and Keshi God bless you wherever you are. Much better coaches. Our attack is not existing. Uncle Mikel should drop to his natural position and let capable strikers help the team. This. Is. Painful. To. Watch. |

Rohr is a Mad man... Yes! I said it Firstly, he doesn't inspire believe into this team... On a normal day, due to our pedigree, Croatia is not our mates... We will decimate them... But Rohr is a coward and timid coach... He has transferred his timidity to the team Secondly he is stubbornly playing 4-3-3 when it is visible to the blind and audible to the deaf that 3-5-2 is our formation Somebody should talk to Rohr that we have an history We have beaten the very best of teams before in the world cup without good preparations, without proper planning, without players bonuses that he has gotten..... We are better than this Croatia are not a match for us We are winners We are Nigerians And we are not cowards 1 Like |

We can turn this around with some tweaks in our mid field |

Tochex101:The problem is that we have not learnt from the friendly matches. Nothing at all. Iwobi does not work on the wings. The only time he's come to the middle, he's done well. Same way England scored that corner kick goal. We don't defend like a world cup team. If we don't revert to that 3 5 2 formation, we will not get out of that team. It's so bloody annoying. 1 Like |

safarigirl:Lol.And none of the midfielders can just shift him off. See it just signifies that we are still poor at set pieces. Nawa o. Does it meantbkse waiting for his cross can only understand his cross only? or they are just running cos they believe he may deliver? lol questions plenty. Why not a new much more better approach? I dunno if the brains of all in our camp aren't reasoning thus. |

Mickael2: After I watched Croatia at Anfield I said what will give us the advantage is one main thing. PACE X PACE + PACE. Right now we are not using any. Shehu is getting terrored it's apparent he lacks pace. Idowu is also getting exposed. We need blistering pace. That's not happening. Also we are way too defensive. Cross coming in only one man in the box. The distance between the midfield and the attack is too much. We are not even pressing Croatia we are allowing them way too much time and space. I'm sorry to say we are disorganised and indisciplined if Etebo stays on the line he clears the ball but he lacks discipline and composure. Unfortunately we have been POOR |

Mikel offered nothing attacking-wise in the first Half. He's expected to coordinate the Midfield, linking the Defence to Attack, but the Dude is damn slow for the Job. Etebo seems lost in the Match too. He's only good at making back passes, nothing more nothing less. Rohr is kinda a Fool to think the failed Formation and Lineup he tried out severally during the Pre-World Cup Matches gonna be a Success at the World Cup Proper. Sub off Etebo for Iheanacho, drop Mikel in the deeper Role while Iwobi taking the Charge of linking up and cordinating the Midfield..... then twist the Formation to a flat 4 - 3 - 3. Another Option is; sub off Etebo and Moses for Ogu and Iheanacho respectively, change the Formation to 3 - 4 - 1 - 2; Ighalo and Iheanacho Upfront with Iwobi behind, while Ogu joins the Defence. |

For me, the Crotian technical crew did their assignment well. They noticed that Shehu is our weak link at the right back and they've been utilizing that effectively. They direct all balls to Perisic on the left, then outrun Shehu. We need Ebuehi in this game, then switch to our much desired and effective 3-5-2. In addition, Ighalo seems to be weak in pace, he simply can't run to catch balls. Musa might be needed to over-run these Croats defense. Ostensibly, I still very much believe that we can win this game. Second half would be much more different. Irrespective of the result of today's match, I solidly stand with the team. Go Eagles! Look at the positioning of our 2 center backs for that goal. Shambolic to say the least. |

Kai.. Who else like pork? Na the legs be my best part. Who next? Rohr keeps keeping faith in what has never worked for us since post qualifiers. Let’s keep our fingers crossed though. You can’t train to defend set pieces when you don’t have converting set pieces among your strength. Abi na angels wan test the boys for training? |

olapluto:Yes, Rohr did very well during the qualifiers but too many of his calls since then have been suspects. Not getting his tactics right and not even getting his personnel right. Reminds me of Wenger |

Mickael2: I agree with you Duck. When we have the ball in our half, etebo and co couldn't use the balls to launch attacks. Immediately mikel moved into our half of the field it was much better. |
