Afam4eva: Explain why we were deadlier when Nacho came on for Ighalo if Mikel finding Ighalo was the problem to you. I repeat, our problem was poor movement up front. Finito. 1 Like |

Oasis007:I was about to sentence you to the gallows until I saw the bolded How easy is it for you.. Was this not the same Mikel,Balogun etc that dazzled through the qualifiers? Is it not in this same thread that some people were bleating about Iheanacho, I remember clearly "He has a poor first touch" and the other vitriol. It honestly becomes hard to take anyone serious with the emotional see-saw one sees here 1 Like |

andrew444:They'll give any team in this tournament a game. The team is littered with experienced Veterans who are used to winning (Matic, Ivanovic, Kolarov) with genuinely talented youngsters like Milinko-Savic. They are probably just lacking an elite striker but Mitrovic is capable of putting them in. 1 Like |

TheGoodJoe: Had the only shot on target and was unlucky to get blocked on a sure goal. Held up the ball well and did great battle with the CBs. The answer is not benching Ighalo for Iheanacho, it is adding Iheanacho or another striker. |

From time immemorial, Nigeria has never taken set pieces serious. We easily concede from it and we hardly utilise it. I wanted to site our grassroots development as the problem but when you have a situation whereby even foreign borns Like Idowu, Ekong, and Balogun would be there and we still fall prey says alot. Victor Moses that is wasting all the set piece opportunities did not have his football development in Nigeria. I would have also blamed it on the development of our coaches but Rohr is not a Nigerian. Well, I just hope the team improves in that area. We cannot always be scoring goals from only open play. 1 Like |

TheGoodJoe: Yeah.... he's not but with little Changes in his Backroom, he's gonna get it right. I implore NFF to draft in Siasia as Assistant Coach of the Super Eagles, and a Coach of the Home-based Eagles. Salisu is already appointed as U23 Team, thus he's not needed in the main Eagles coaching Crew anymore, and I wouldn't mind him to be assisted by Kalika. 2 Likes |

How about Rohr starting Simmy Nwankwo and Iheanacho upfront? A two-main strike force, with Iwobi playing just behind them, would cause a lot of wahala for the Iceland players. I don’t seriously believe Iceland would park the bus against the Super Eagles; they will play a more open game which would suit the natural pace players of the SE. Moreover, Ebuehi needs to start the next two games. He is a massive upgrade on Shehu. |

daveP:Why don't we have a Ronaldo? Iheanacho should be given a chance to start next match, if not as Main Striker,as AMF or SS. That dude has something to offer this team. BTW; He is the only one that can take a direct freekick in our team. He made some good runs compare to the apparently static Ighalo as well as some nice square balls. |

I’m now starting to believe some who say the NFF management take a share of Rohr’s salary, because it has been crickets from them. Normally, if a native Nigerian coach had the last run of 4/5 poor results, there would be a lot of noise from the Glass House. |
