You people are just being typical of what Nigerians are known for. Apportioning blame to the coach or some of the players like they even performed better than this in their previous fixtures.

Our problem is that, just like the English people, we always expect magic. The team is at best average and cannot give what they do not have. They played their best but lost the game to a superior Croatian team with star studded players.

It's not like we've not always had a team with above average players even during the USA 94 era, the only difference is that our midfield was fantastic. Today, our midfield even seems like the weakest link. How does an Ighalo score goals if he's not been fed. I have to say that Mikel's time in the super eagles is over because despite being our number 10, he holds the ball black and is slow in pace. convert Iwobi to a number 10 and give Moses serious warning about always falling. His dribbles in the wings do not yield any result. Whenever he gets the ball, he should cross it into the box 18 for our strikers to battle it out.

Another problem the team have is a lot of distraction. If they're not posing for the camera, they're dancing shaku shaku or taking a walk in the park. This people do not strain well. Even in their training, i don't see any atom of seriousness.

Explain why we were deadlier when Nacho came on for Ighalo if Mikel finding Ighalo was the problem to you. I repeat, our problem was poor movement up front.

Finito.

I advise we lower our Expectation on this Team and hoping for a Miracle to happen against Iceland and Argentina.

There are lots to pick from the first Match;

1 - I want Rohr to be retained not sacked no matter the outcome of our performance in this Competition.

2 - This should Competition should be the last Appearance for Mikel, Akpeyi, Echiejile, Ighalo, Ogu, Shehu, Moses, Idowu, Onazi, Musa, Balogun and perhaps Ezenwa. They should retire from International Football honorably after this World Cup.

3 - Ebuehi and Aina should be our RB and LB respectively, then we can scout for their Backups.

4 - Nwakali Brothers, Tosin should be drafted as Midfielders. Eze, Oyenkuru, are needed as Wingers in the Squad.

5 - in the striking Position, only Kayode I hope he becomes an integral part of the Team.

My Post-World Cup List for the Eagles;

1 - Uzoho
2 - Ebuehi
3 - Aina
4 - Ndidi
5 - Ekong (C)
6 - Omeruo
7 - Moses Simon
8 - Etebo
9 - Kayode
10. Nwakali K.
11. Oyenkuru
12. Adarabioyo
13. Musa Muhammad
14. Iheanacho
15. Awaziem
16. Alampasu
17. Eze
18. Iwobi
19. Ryan Sanusi
20. Nwakali C.
21. Amuzie
22. Kehinde
23. Okoye

Mind you........ this is strictly a Suggestion, pls don't come for my Head, just wanna divert our Attention away from the Loss.
I was about to sentence you to the gallows until I saw the bolded grin

How easy is it for you.. Was this not the same Mikel,Balogun etc that dazzled through the qualifiers? Is it not in this same thread that some people were bleating about Iheanacho, I remember clearly "He has a poor first touch" and the other vitriol. It honestly becomes hard to take anyone serious with the emotional see-saw one sees here

Serbia are a real dark horse in this World Cup. They look a very good team. Physically strong, tactically good and they do have very talented players in their ranks (Milinko-Savic is an elite midfielder in the making, already great).

This team will be very difficult to beat.

I see them in the same ranks as Croatia. Capable of giving the top 4 teams a running for their money.

Three players have scored directly from a free kick this #WorldCup:

Captain Kolarov leading by example for #SRB.

From OptaJoe:

They'll give any team in this tournament a game. The team is littered with experienced Veterans who are used to winning (Matic, Ivanovic, Kolarov) with genuinely talented youngsters like Milinko-Savic. They are probably just lacking an elite striker but Mitrovic is capable of putting them in.

We had plenty of movement upfront. Na wa.

Did you watch Nacho's movement when he came on? Tell me Ighalo offered anything close to that.

Had the only shot on target and was unlucky to get blocked on a sure goal. Held up the ball well and did great battle with the CBs. The answer is not benching Ighalo for Iheanacho, it is adding Iheanacho or another striker.

Seriously, when I saw that comment about 2022 world cup, I was like WTF.

No super eagles team in the history of Nigerian football has had this kind of investment in terms of preparation, allowances and all, and here we have a coach talking of 2022 world cup.

He was even talking about calibre of players in our rank.
Which one does Iceland have that they matched Argentina?

From time immemorial, Nigeria has never taken set pieces serious.

We easily concede from it and we hardly utilise it.

I wanted to site our grassroots development as the problem but when you have a situation whereby even foreign borns Like Idowu, Ekong, and Balogun would be there and we still fall prey says alot.

Victor Moses that is wasting all the set piece opportunities did not have his football development in Nigeria.

I would have also blamed it on the development of our coaches but Rohr is not a Nigerian.

Well, I just hope the team improves in that area. We cannot always be scoring goals from only open play.

Mikel must not find Nacho for us to be deadly. The criticism is that Mikel did not find Ighalo. But, without finding Nacho, we were deadlier. This shows that the AMF was not the problem but movement upfront.

U blamed the AMF for not finding Nacho against SA now u are saying that the AMF must not find the striker? When Nacho was moving helter-skelter against SA why weren't we deadlier

We were not deadlier because of Nacho but because we were more desperate. What exactly do we expect Ighalo to do? It's not like he missed any clear chances.

Honestly speaking, overall the boys played well.

Our midfield did excellently well to match the Croats.

The own goal was unfortunate. No fault of either Etebor or Uzoho. It was just bad luck.

Ekong's foul is what I would not accept for a player in a tournament like the World Cup.

I hope Rohr does not start Ighalo again.

Iceland are very beatable. They will come out to claim 3 points against us and may get exposed.

Somebody should tell the boys that the fashion parade is over, and that the World Cup has started.

And start who instead? Even Ihranacho would struggle out of isolation upfront trust me. It was obvious that Ighalo simply needed a strike partner since the Croatian defense were able to cage him because dude was there was neither a partner nor reasonable supplies

If we beat Iceland & Argentina beats Croatia, it will be:

Croatia. 3pts
Nigeria. 3pts

We must be at our best. Play 3-5-2 Rohr please. Let Mikel and Ndidi sit deep while Iwobi plays 10.

Can we get even a point from Argentina after beating Iceland? That is the issue...
Remember Argentina will desperately be aiming for maximum points in there next two games at full blast.

If you like create 20 opportunities for Ighalo; how many do you think he will convert? We got over 6 corner kicks, how many did he make an attempt to even sniff at? We played 9 and half against Croatia's eleven yesterday. Iheanacho did more in 3 minutes than Ighalo did in 70 minutes.
The games that Iheanacho started as number nine what did he do?

Yeah.... he's not but with little Changes in his Backroom, he's gonna get it right. I implore NFF to draft in Siasia as Assistant Coach of the Super Eagles, and a Coach of the Home-based Eagles.

Salisu is already appointed as U23 Team, thus he's not needed in the main Eagles coaching Crew anymore, and I wouldn't mind him to be assisted by Kalika.

How about Rohr starting Simmy Nwankwo and Iheanacho upfront?

A two-main strike force, with Iwobi playing just behind them, would cause a lot of wahala for the Iceland players. I don’t seriously believe Iceland would park the bus against the Super Eagles; they will play a more open game which would suit the natural pace players of the SE.

Moreover, Ebuehi needs to start the next two games. He is a massive upgrade on Shehu.

Why don't we have a Ronaldo?
Iheanacho should be given a chance to start next match, if not as Main Striker,as AMF or SS.
That dude has something to offer this team.
BTW; He is the only one that can take a direct freekick in our team.
He made some good runs compare to the apparently static Ighalo as well as some nice square balls.

I’m now starting to believe some who say the NFF management take a share of Rohr’s salary, because it has been crickets from them.

Normally, if a native Nigerian coach had the last run of 4/5 poor results, there would be a lot of noise from the Glass House.
