I want to ask if the embassy will be opened today and besides that for someone going to germany for the first time, do I have to get a return ticket? Or just a one way ticket.

Npc was set up in 1992 so there's no way they could have issued anyone born before then a birth certificate at birth. The best you can get is an attestation letter, of which you need a court affidavit deposed by the head of your family (for German embassy at least)

I have with two deadline payment June 30th and physical deadline Oct 29th

I have an Msc from a UK University and currently want to apply for an Msc/Phd in a german university under the Daad scholarship programme.

My concerns are:

1. Do i still need to attach an English profiency letter from my University stating the course was taught in English?
One would assume this fact would be clear enough.

2. I have 2 academic reference letters which i used for my first Msc application dated 2013. Can i still use them or i will be required to get a more recent one for my current German university application?

I will appreciate response from those with experience.

@ justwise

1. Since you received your Msc from a UK school, they should be able to waive the English language requirement for you.

2. I think references from your Msc will pull more weight for a PhD application.

When you're purchasing it, they'll ask for the Senders and Receiver's address.
So the sender should be:
THE GERMAN EMBASSY
THE CONSULAR GENERAL
15 WALTER CARRINGTON CRESCENT
VICTORIA ISLAND
NIGERIA
And the receiver should be your residential address..

[about the first question... The answer should be No, i.e you do not intended to maintain a permanent residence in the republic of Germany (even though you don't really mean it)
About the second question: If your program is more than a year program please do not click yes that you intend to stay no longer than 12 months in the federal capital territory.
