SmartgridReborn: Good afternoon fellow hopefuls. I am excited to be back here on this thread. Even when I deactivated my former Smartgrid account, I knew I will eventually comes back. The heat was just too much then, so I had to leave the kitchen Lol.
I have been following this thread occasionally as guest, and over time, alot has been said. Some are true while others are not. Most times I feel the urge to reactivate my account and comment, but then I ask myself; Is that really necessary? You know that kind feeling where you just want to be in peace
I want to shoutout to Neverdown, Ferguson, Marvel and Co. For their numerous contributions. Take this from me, they were telling the truth. Though maybe the info is not 100% correct, but I am sure they have sources from within. Bravo.
I am also excited that our boss lady Tamihawtt is back. Everything she shares lately is true. I am very sure she has first hand info. Pls let's be mindful of our comments, if you have any objections pls say it without insulting anymore. Criticized objectively. Okay here are some of the updates from my side. - FCC has already issued COC to Dpr. I am 100% sure. - Appointment letters are typed - Mr Tata has traveled for religious duties. Expected to return tonight or tomorrow. - Postings are already sorted. Based on field of study and where you are needed. - Inductions will be in July. And in batches. - It's very possible to get emails and texts this week. - Most of the successful applicants were chosen on merit. - Mr Tata deserves some accolades. He really fight hard for the those who knew no one. One thing about him is straighforwardness, when he said no is no, and yes is yes. If only you know how he fight for you, you all will be praying for him. Most of the stakeholders thought he was joking when he said 'he can't help their candidates if they don't perform well on the test and interview' but he did exactly what he said.
Wishing everyone the best of luck. Will be updating when more info comes in. I pray it’s this week or hopefully next week 3 Likes |

jidex4life: if the OND guys were asked complete 50 questions in their exam and we graduate trainee and experienced hire were asked 45 questions and knowing fully well that DPR had banks of questions to set 50 questions for us then why 45 questions. In my own opinion am thinking the CBT test is 45*2= 90 points and interview score is 10 points making a total of 100 points I think u r right. The man who interviewed me was mentioning my score for every question I answered. For instance the first question was to name four things and I only named two he said 2/4. |

Ferguson0709: Since we are all sharing our interview experiences, let me share mine. Got into the interview room and the first thing was abt my height. Asking if DPR was preparing a basketball team. Next question is where do o work and I told him, asked for my ID and after seeing it the interviewer said “we are looking for people like you who needs just little training since yu are already in a system like ours. Asked just 2 questions more and asked if I have a question and I said yes. I asked a funny question and it was all laughs. But all in all, I’m not reading any meaning to the friendly interview. Though I’m so confident but I’m banking on Gods Grace. Guy forget that thing. I don't have oil and gas experience but if I tell u what I was told eeh JUNE JUNE JUNE |

Just some quick questions, what is the sharing formula used? I mean are GTs and EHs shared separately or cumulatively across states? That is to say, if a state has 10 slots, are scores viewed separately for GTs n EHs or generally and the slots allocated to d best 10 in view of positions applied for? Also, what happens to someone who missed his or her interview even if they scored highest in the CBT? |

My guess is that the Aptitude test is given more priority because the interview was very simple for many candidates and some questions just required a Yes /No answer. Also on average, I don't think the questions were more than 10. How can it carry more weight than 45 hot questions? 3 Likes |

For instance, The number of slots to be filled for Geologist positions are 10 ( 7 GTs and 3 EH). If at the end of the day, there are 20 candidates (GT and EH) to compete for the job after a thorough screening which I have explained before in my previous posts, then categorise them accordingly i.e From the 20 candidates, you will have 15 GTs and 5 EH. By this analysis, some state would be at disadvantage, which defiles the purpose of FCC. The rule is that, a designed formular is used to predetermine the number for each state/zone to be recruited. So for a particular cadre you are in competition with other candidate in your state/zone for the predetermined slot. So if they are to choose 6 candidates for a certain cadre. assuming a formular of one candidate per zone. A zone with a 40% best candidate would get a slot even though he may have a worse score than the second(or even third etc) of another zone.
