Most time Australia find it difficult qualifying through that route and as such decided to make an appeal to join the Asian qualification group for world cup. They are not in Asia but only playing through Asian qualification group.

Maybe we should try players from the African local leagues in the world cup. We did it before and it worked.

the problem is our home league ,we dont seem to have a very good standard home league ,most north african players dont go abroad , they are been paid well in their league and the facilities are there . if we continue rellying on foreign based players we will continue to have problems ,imagine not a single home based player made our team list, i may be wrong though

So, what has been achieved with foreign based players? Absolutely nothing. And if a single home based player didn't make the team, it is just because people have this bias that whatever comes from the West if better than what is in Africa.
I am sure, the Nigerian local league players could have done a better job than your foreign based players who are good for nothing.
