Does it power on when you connect the charger and the battery or only when the battery is connected?

Only when the battery is connected. I have to remove the battery and on the laptop without it then put the battery in when it's on.

Fault is definitely from motherboard, take it to good engineer close to you.

Please i unlocked a Zte Mtn modem and now, it has refused to install on another system even after downloading and installing the 3 zte drivers it complained of. It only works on the system i installed it in before unlocking it. Even the setup is not showing on ''MY COMPUTER''
Please how do i solve this sir?

I don't unlock modem and really don't know how to go about it.

You can do a research or create a new thread on it, someone out there will surely help.

my dell laptop has been experiencing sudden shut down on its own frequently. I have formatted it but the problem persists. I don't know what could be the cause of it. the operating system is a new window 7 that is working perfectly in another system. could battery cause it, although even without battery it does the same thing. I really need solution from the gurus please.

Do you received any error message before it shutdown?
Do you notice maybe the fan is blowing normally?

Since your laptop still detect the dvd drive in your pc, then definitely the dvd drive is bad.

You need to replace it.

VGA problem, did you update the display adapter driver? If yes uninstall it if no then fault from motherboard, reballing the VGA chip can bring it back to life.

Hmmm, I did not update display adapter driver. The issue just started one morning and it just went blank. Sometime, it will come up, then I thought it is the windows 8 on it, so I formatted it and installed windows 8.1. But it still persist since then. So how will I really the VGA chip?

I bought a mouse for my laptop but it's functioning opposite..
As in left click working as right click and vice versa... what could be the problem.. my laptop?
