They are physical and fast. Really fast. Their pace is giving Poland headache

That being said, their right back is having it tough against Poland's left winger.

The Senegalese came supporting their team with drums and trumpets. But Naija fans no show up.

Maybe our drums and songs would have reminded our players that they are Nigerians.

Russia 2018 FunFact

As it stands, Senegal has never lost a World cup match in regulation time. Their only loss came via extra time winner in their 1-0 QF loss to Turkey at Korea/Japan 2002. Ilhan Mansiz was the scorer.

and vie golden goal too

i'm sure they would have equalised if the rule wasn't prominent at that time

They are playing like a true Sub-Saharan African team. Disrupting Poland with their power and pace. We could've easily beaten Croatia if we had played this style against them, but Gernot Rohr decided to go the opposite it.

Rohr would always remind you that Croatia is better than us because "if you look at the FIFA ranking they are ranked way higher than us." But remember that, going by FIFA ranking, Poland is ranked higher than Croatia. Imagine if their coach had adopted that attitude?

O pari

If not I started watching this crop of team since our failed 2016 AFCONQ I would have believed him

I used to think it is humility but I know now that it is buffoonery

My strongest squad for the next match..

Goal- uzoho
Defence- Ekong, Balogun, Omeruo (Cant believe I am rooting for Omeruo)
Midfield- Ebuehi, Iwobi(playing the creative role), Mikel, Ndidi, Idowu ( I would have placed moses in place of Idowu, but Moses stiffles the attack)
Attack-Iheanacho, Simi/ Ighalo

If we are in search of goals and and the above formation aint yielding result, then we can be talking ofintroducing victor Moses in place of Idowu to drive the wing more. And we can still accomodate the 4-3-3 that Rohr so much wants to force down our throats.

Somebody can please help me with the othe subs......

I am watching the 11 Iroko trees of Senegal if you are under 6ft you be short man..

They are terrorising Poland these guys look like heavy weight boxers. A team of 7/8 Lukaku's doing Africa proud.

First African victory in this World cup seems to be here.

Poland 0 Senegal 2 for now

That goal was Mbaye Niang's maiden goal for the Lions of Teranga. Awesome that it comes at the World Cup. Just awesome. What a way to open your International goals account.

Even on this forum some folks were arguing that physical African football is not it. See ourselves now. Use what you have to get what you want.

You just said nonsense. This remains the Super Eagles thread and he is free to post anything Eagles-related. I can understand that you are among the plastic fans who easily condemns the team for just one loss. If you wanna keep talking trash about the Super Eagles, plsss feel free in your own post and corner but desist from trying to harass another who is thinking about our next game.

I love Eagles more than you think I do. I may have been a little over board but that's cos I feel very bad about our recent performance. Oh well, I respect you enough to have replied you. Otherwise I would have ignored your derogatory comment. I was wrong, you don't correct me with wrongness. Goodnight.
