African teams have conceded 7 goals so far in this tournament. All from set pieces.

Kai thank you!

Do you remember that after we won Argentina he kept reminding us that Messi didn't play?

Did everyone noticed how hard Sadio Mane is working in this game? Both in the defensive and in the offensives ends of the field. That's what you call LEADING BY EXAMPLE.

Now, compare that to Mikel's meek effort in the game against Croatia! Tells you everything you need to know.

. I heard drums and trumpets weren't allowed during our match sad. angry
they won't allow us. Did we inform them earlier? I'm sure we didn't. I raised it some months back that there is need for our SC to write the Local Organizing Committee that Nigeria is coming to support her team with drums and trumpets. But the old chairman has ran out of idea and still think we are in the 20th century were you just go to someone's land and be doing anyhow. They appeared at the stadium with live chicken and were expecting them to be given pass. Our Supporters club are a joke

LOL, don't mind them. Pace and power game is our style of play. And that's the ONLY way we can compete and defeat the Euro teams. We can't beat them with defensive organization. No way!

Same here. Initially, I thought he was just trying to deceive our opponents by making them feel over confident. But I started having doubt once he started singing the same tune at every freaking opportunity! I felt that he's starting to make his team lose confidence. Have you ever seen a boxer who goes into the ring telling you that he doesn't stand a chance because his opponent is much better than him?

Odunayaw:
If not I started watching this crop of team since our failed 2016 AFCONQ I would have believed him

I used to think it is humility but I know now that it is buffoonery

Yes na. We saw it in the friendly. How we dominated Poland in all departments. And put one nice finish past them.

BascoVanVeli:
Great job Senegal but people should go easy on our boys, Croatia and Poland are 2 different countries.

Nna, I thought I was the only one who noticed that defeatist attitude from Gernot Rohr. Here's what I posted on twitter on Sunday afternoon:

Mexico Coach Osario before game vs GERMANY
"The fans would feel good about the team after 90mins."

Nigeria Coach Rohr before game vs Croatia
"They are much better than us."

Its the way the team was set up.... plus Rohr singing the ever useless chorus of Underdog in their eardrums... like they qualified by fluke

To say the truth, these are the worst African reps to world cup in recent memory. All the teams have no respectable strikers. Senegal played just like us passing and running around without any meaningful cutting edge however Luck shined on them cos both teams were shitty just like CroNgr.

What is foolish in what I said. Do you need a soothsayer to tell you that we paraded chickens rather than eagles for this tournament.
