Somebody is laying foundation for many streets named after Ibo's town in Port Harcourt to be renamed. Mark my words a precedent is about being set. 1 Like |

Once a thing, road or organization has been known for a certain name, even if such a name is latter changed, people will still be calling the former name forever. Take for instance NEPA. Even when it changed to PHCN and up till now with various DISCOs, people still call NEPA when ever electricity is being discussed. Abakaliki street will still be called that old name because of easy description. 2 Likes |

This is really sad and it just shows how petty some Nigerian governors can be. Umahi or Ebonyi state have no right to interfere with what happens i Anambra state. Anambra can decide to name and rename any street if they like. 7 Likes |

Cyynthialove:God bless you abundantly for this that you wrote.. I've always thought I'm the only one that's aware of this human behavior anomaly but I now know someone else that shares the same view as me.. We pay more attention on hating ourselves as human, we only need a difference as little as skin colour before we start discriminating and profiling each other... I sincerely hope we move pass this stage as soon as possible so the coming generations won't meet congealed hatred and intolerance that we harbour in our minds to our perceived 'enemies' 3 Likes |

This is what you have when your leaders share clueless about what it means to lead. They are worried about a street and not about the whereabouts of Kanu or the thousands of men and women killed and detained for agitating for their freedom. Do you hear laughter...I do, laughter of Igbo clowns that call themselves Honorable and Governor... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tc9FcblLO1s&t=2s |

OMANBALA1:i support they can't dictate what name you choose for your state, but saying they're trashing ur town. I don't accept that Do You know that 80% of criminals and Ritualist in Enugu state today are from Anambra and that Anambra have carried igbos in his shoulder is laughable. No doubt, Anambra State is Good But 90% of pple that made Anambra what it is today are pple frm other state expecially Enugu pple. You can go to Onitsha Main Market, Ose Okwuodu, Iweka E.t.c you can count how many Anambarian is there doing business. The only thing Anambra has contributed mostly in is soiling the name of Igbos. So don't make it look like Anambarians are ahead of every Igbo state 'cause it's impossible. 5 Likes |
