Since the induction is five days, how do we go about feeding and accommodation?. Does Ptdf give OSS scholars laptop?

A warm and hearty congratulations to all those awarded the scholarship for both FGC and UK. go out there and make Nigeria proud of your work overseas.

To the rest of us who didn't make the list(only 3 people selected from my state), don't worry, you can always rise up and try. Opportunities are endless.. You just keep pushing.

The tension and anxiety are now over. Time to move on quickly to greater things that lie ahead.

I MADE IT...... THANK YOU JESUS(GERMANY). Now the Problem is I've just landed a very big job(my dream job). WHAT DO I DO NOW? THIS IS THE BIGGEST FIX I'VE EVER BEEN IN MY ENTIRE LIFE AND I LOVE EVERY BIT OF IT. CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL OF US WHO MADE IT.


Go for your job...differ your award till next year and apply for study leave after one year.

The only problem I see with that is not knowing whether you'll be granted study leave just after a year of working.

Weigh your options carefully and pray for guidance...Congrats.

As at 2017, you take care of your accommodation by yourself, am not sure of feeding. Maybe some food will be provided in the PTDF tower during the induction activity. BTW congratulations

Well the 19th of July 2018 will alway be a day to remember for me. It was a day filled with mixed feelings of sadness as well as happiness. The sad thing is that I was not successful in both the uk and fgc PTDF scholarship. And on the same day I was awarded a full scholarship by the Chinese scholarship council csc. I believe if one thing doesn't work for you, there is something special coming your way. By the way, congratulations to the latest PTDF scholars in town. hod bless.

Please what documents are needed at the induction. Is the health test carried out also and can it prevent one from getting the award if one is a sickler for example.

Come with ALL your documents.

As far as I know, the only test that will be carried out is the TB screening for UK scholars. Different countries have different requirements and I seriously doubt if genotype (non SS) is a prerequisite to obtaining a study visa.
