AIG07: forgiveness:I made my post with the mindset Rohr would be playing 3-5-2. More so Musa's performance against Croatia was abysmal. That selection doesn't conform to what I perceive would be a weapon of mass destruction against Iceland hence my burst out. No tribalistic undertone whatsoever. |

LieDetector:Pls,why saying federal character?are you saying Musa is not good enough. I think with Iwobi performance as a winger against Croatia,Musa deserve to start against Iceland if formation permit. 6 Likes 1 Share |

Kog45:I'm not looking at Iwobi as a winger but rather as an AM in a 3-5-2 formation. Musa can't play that role unless of course Rohr has got some other tactics up his sleeves. I'd keep my fingers crossed until Friday when the official line up must have been laid bare. 1 Like |

LieDetector:Sir,yes in 3-5-2 formation i don't expect Musa to start ahead of Iwobi and that's why i said if formation permit a winger then Musa should start. |

This Senegalese team has been on for more that four years now....our 1994 team was from 1990 up to 1998....This team is just about two years...Germany started rebuilding after 2014..they are still on it....what i am driving at is even if we crash out.... Rohr has done a good job....four year is ok for a coach to build a winning team...i am not excusing him for lacklustre performance against Croatia nor the players...but i am looking at long term....our player turnover for national team these days is today....Westerhof used more than 120 players before he arrived at 1994 world cup ticket. |

I said this sometime and some nay sayers started talking crap. Claudio Ranieri; ” Awaziem is very good at defending set piece. He is also good at finishing them off at the other end. I’m surprised he isn’t starting for Nigeria after the stellar season he had in France last season. Maybe they will need him in their subsequent games as he is a threat from set piece “, Ranieri said. Awaziem is the only defender in that Eagles team that can leap, next is Omeruo. Ekong shies away from aerial duels. 2 Likes |

Hahaha.... See me see trouble. LieDetector quoted the news that said Rohr plans to drop Shehu, Ndidi(who is our top tackler) and start Musa. If this news is anything to go by, then e dun be for us. Here is LieDetector's reply dropping shehu and starting Musa? We are not ready for any world cup. We have to wait for another four years. Anyone that doesn't see this is a federal character something is blind. It's clear now Rohr isn't the one calling the shots. Shame on NFF. Shame shame and more shame. Nonsense! Everyone here agrees that the team lacks creativity which Iwobi brings and needs a player like Ndidi. We all know that Iwobi can't play out wide but we still all agree that he is our most creative player. The news stated that Rohr plans to give him a new role (which I guess is the AMF role) which is very fine by me. I'm sure LieDetector made his comments which I quoted on the basis that Rohr plans to switch formation to 3-5-2 which does not require a WF. What prompted those posts was why is Rohr planning to accommodate a certain player that does not fit into the system simply because another player will be drop. So, always try to understand what and how a discourse begins before jumping into it. I don't know how pointing out something faulty turns me into a tribalist. I don't play all these dirty games of tribalism. I just want the best team to file out. I'll need you guys to point out where have done this in the past. I have called for Ighalo to be dropped. I have suggested that Idowu is drop to make use of V. Moses as LWB. I pointed out the magnitude of S. MOSES loss to the team even before the team left the shore of the country. So your accusation does not hold any water. #peace Cc: Oasis007, somehow, Kog45 3 Likes |

gamaliel9: That's a lie bro. About six out of the 11players that started for Senegal yesterday haven't spent up to seven months with the team. Guys like Wague, Sarr, Ndiaye, Niang, Sabaly etc are all new comers and I doubt they have had more than 7caps each for Senegal before that worldcup opener |

andrew444: The valuation of some of their players is quite stratospheric, a sharp contrast to ours. A guy like Koulibaly is worth $80M according to Napoli add Saido Mane $80M+. Add Badou Niang and Keita Balde who transfered to Monaco for €30M last season. How much is our entire team worth? 3 Likes |

The good thing DESIRE, DETERMINATION, PRIDE, FEARLESSNESS, PASSION, SELF-BELIEF, DILIGENCE, in a twinkle of an eye can be resurrected.
