This is a clear case of speaking out of both sides of one's mouth. The girl became the woman's responsibility immediately she accepted her into her home.
Bottom line is that the woman agreed to take her in and train her. I'm sure she didn't discuss with the girl's father that she'd maltreat her, deny her food and rob her of basic, decent education. If she wasn't prepared to treat d girl right, she shouldn't have taken her in.

The only thing is thank God we don’t look like what we have been through , you don’t know what it feels to be emotionally tortured as a child , even when you get older u will still remember the pains you went through as a child , just that not everybody will come up and tell their own stories .
